well said . i feel that too . the moment when they played in highbury , the camera angle used  is just lovely to watch a perfect football on the television . that the old days , my secondary school moment , just miss it so much  sad.gif

cant comment at the game since i didnt watch this match.

Abysmal performance.. The moment we conceded the third goal I gave up. What angered me the most is Wenger took 60+ mins to realize Diaby wasn't fit today!! And Song just everywhere instead of doing his job properly. For Clichy, oh my, what happened to him?! I prefer Gibbs nowadays, at least Gibbs has better awareness instead of Clichy!!! Almunia.. nvm.

Its just a sad day for Arsenal. I hope these players would look at themselves and thought of what went wrong, and what they had given back to the fans. Arsenal jersey is not for them to jog around on the pitch.. We expect more!!!!

Song is a damn fine midfielder. But ever since he scored that goal (against Bolton? can't remember), he seems to have put on an attacking cap and boots and shook off those defensive qualities in him that made him a tough wall in front of our back line. So much so that his tackles becomes clumsy. With our general light-weightness, we need that original Song. Badly.

I think it's because the goal and the color of his hair. I want the black hair fierce song back! vmad.gif

if u guys looking at first half as a consolation yeah no worries
but if we are hoping for lethal, no mercy, ruthless....1st half not good at all
im saying this with a light note, hopefully 2nd half give it all out!

i dont know bout u guys, regarding alex song
why do i feel the way he play football now like so clumsy,
if u look at the way he positions himself, really looks like a kaki bangku  sweat.gif
his tackles and all, like slow down d...
look very forceful at times
maybe its just me  unsure.gif

Steven Pienaar to join Arsenal?

Dont mind him in Arsenal jersey. Energetic, always committed, has the skill to play for Arsenal, unlike some of our players jogging around. And, less injury!! He has improved no doubt.. one of my friends is an Everton fan, he is quite upset that Pienaar is leaving.

If only it was true.. heh.. and its FREE!! Why not Wenger??

The game is on Sunday I think, since they love to make it Super Sunday..

On Pienaar issue, yea we can only keep 25 players.. who to offload I really don't know, it's really up to AW. But there are a few players who have been below par since the last 5 seasons & always injured. Pienaar on the other hand has been consistent and less injury.

Chelski? Our Little Lumber Jack will hack them into pieces. Just wear our gooner's jersey this weekend and support our team biggrin.gif

to stop chelsea formula...
strength in midfield!!!!
just look at citeh, they bankin 5 midfield (milner, dejong, barry, y.toure, silva) to battle (ramires, mikel, essien, malouda)
you can see in that game how frustrated drog coz no supply from midfield and he need to work from deep...
so to have a chance to beat chelsea we need a powerfull and creative midfield
nasri-cesc-song-diaby-arshavin
just leave chamakh upfont, hope he can out jump alex or terry...
as for defence, hope to see TV6 at the back, laci-koci lack speed lor...
sagna - chilchy pls no mistake anymore  icon_question.gif
fabianski or almunia ????????????? no flappy goal la  doh.gif

I really won't put up my hopes, because it will only cause me heartbreak. However, will still go and watch the match to support our team smile.gif

That's what us fans are about. biggrin.gif

Updated the kick-off time on the title wink.gif
Well, after so many seasons Drogba scoring against us, it's interesting to see if we have found the answer to stop him with our new CBs partnership.

As pointed out above, our fullbacks are out of form at the moment and it will be more critical to have them to perform since they are experienced Arsenal and EPL players, especially Clichy!

That day we play 2 RBs.. Eboue and Sagna.. what happened? We lost to West Brom at home.. so a Big no no.. Even though Eboue was trying to play RM position/flank, but totally fail.

Arsenal legend training at London Colney

A familiar face is back at London Colney - Arsenal legend Robert Pires.
The Frenchman was a key member of the 'Invincibles' squad that completed an unbeaten Premier League campaign in 2003/04 and he is currently a free agent having been released by Villarreal during the summer.
Like David Beckham and Sol Campbell before him, Pires has been given permission to work on his fitness at Arsenal's training ground.
Pires made 284 appearances for Arsène Wenger's side from 2000 to 2006, scoring 84 goals during that time. He won the League and FA Cup 'double' twice, scored the winner in the 2003 FA Cup Final and was voted Footballer of the Year in 2002.
The 36-year-old made a memorable return to North London last year when he played for Villarreal in a Champions League Quarter-Final at Emirates Stadium.

Damn I thought I was going to post it here first...

My tears almost come out when I read Bobby is back to train with us, tho just a short while.. But heck, this is where he belongs!! Miss the Invincibles so much!!

Can he pull a 6 month contract like Sol? With our trend of players getting injured before injured, I don't see any harm. Plus, our youngsters can learn the 'determination' & the 'heart' to play for Arsenal. NOT some half ass performance like against WBA last week mad.gif !!!! And also learn Bobby's superb shooting skills.

notworthy.gif Bobby!! notworthy.gif

He cant defend like Song, He cant pass like Cesc/Denilsonn, he not hardworking compared to Rosicky, hes dribble aint better than Nasri, his shooting? Probably ok when no one marks him. Also, his aerial ability isn't dat good despite him having the physical presence as claimed by AW.

^ This part... He has the physical attributes of Patrick Vieira. However, Patrick Vieira at Arsenal last time was a FIERCE beast and he kept it SIMPLE!! His distribution is pinpoint accurate and is it so hard for Diaby to keep things simple and distribute the ball as soon as he got it???
