QUOTE(kimhoong @ Sep 29 2010, 05:13 AM) I share your sentiment on the shooting part. A striker can miss countless of chances but a defender could not miss even once.I actually do not mind that Arshavin keeps trying. At least the opponent will mark him tighter and free up others. I understand the frustration of Arshavin keeps losing ball possession but, if you never try, you'll never know. The more you try, they more lucky you get Chamakh has quick feet and able to hold up the ball. He won us many penalties. Hahaha. This match will give Fabianski a boost to his confidence but the sad thing Chelsea is next. Hope he dont get bullied again and back to the flappy old days. zzz This post has been edited by Vinci777: Sep 29 2010, 10:25 AM |

arsenal minus fabregas minus van persie minus bendtner minus vermaelen=castrated gunner
(seriously?Wilshere is not up to the job yet, nasri is better played as a winger than an AM,Rosicky is more less a squad player, djorou is same as well, chamaks need to get used to English Football style...) i remember someone said about getting a korean to add to the gunner's squad.i suggest Ki Sung Yong.he's young, asian, handsome(wenger like this) and has fantastic long range pass. i see the arsenal lineup and even with their strongest lineup(with all the lads present 100%),i saw there's not deep lying playmaker.Song and Denilson are more of holding midfielders to my book,Rosicky and Wilshere are AMs.arsenal attack is focused on short passes and that proved less effective against team that play tight on them barca got iniesta and xavi, inter got sneidjer,Manchester United got Scholes and Carrick(and Gibson, but he's still green),even Tottenham got Huddlestone. so other than GK,he need this type of player |

Regarding Nasri , it's really tough on the decisions where to placed him in the formation. He is complete, but does he really is ?
Well , he got good close ball control and decent finishing, but he doesn't has the vision like Cesc/Wilshere , nor the speed of Walcott , and one of his main cons is he doesn't release the ball fast enough for Arsenal type of attack. Decent player yes , complete ? far from it , IMO . However, he is still one of our most consistent player and could do fairly well in every games. It is true that Arsenal doesn't has a deep lying playmaker , unless we let Cesc to take that role , while placing Wilshere further up. If Song continues on with his bad spell of discipline/passing , we probably see this as our best Starting 11 midfield . ----- Denilson ------ --Cesc -------------- --------- Wilshere -- This post has been edited by Breaktru: Sep 29 2010, 11:49 AM |

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Sep 29 2010, 12:21 PM) just for your info, drogba was rested last night due to match suspension so he definitely will play unless he got injured while training. lampard will definitely not playing against you guys. he need around two more weeks to recover from his hernia surgery |

this is a good victory to be brought forward to stamford bridge. couldnt ask for more, hopefully the lads will give all their best this weekend we may draw or lose, but the very least i want to see a 100% from them. on UCL, 1 more victory and we will progress to the next round This post has been edited by Quick`: Sep 29 2010, 02:35 PM |
