good win overall.
although song and sagna could have done better with their passing.
arshavin was quite wasteful too.
all in all, good win.

Maybe Arshavin lacks of sharpness infront of goal but at the very least, he tried and shoot, that is something we moaned few seasons ago when TH14 left no 1 takes the initiative and fill his boots.

I share your sentiment on the shooting part.

I actually do not mind that Arshavin keeps trying. At least the opponent will mark him tighter and free up others.

I understand the frustration of Arshavin keeps losing ball possession but, if you never try, you'll never know.

nice statistics, although it might not tell the whole story.
somehow on the RB area they tend to complicate matters.

certainly not smile.gif

Song made 0 key passes (passes that resulted in attempts on goal) - In light of our 'brilliant' defending, perhaps he should stay back more

Chamakh drawn the most foul - 5

Denilson 87 accurate passes - no surprise there as he is just playing the link-up/keep the ball role, the mikel/busquest role

heard that vermaelen wont make the team this weekend unsure.gif

when in the penalty box, song becomes a headless chicken.
he should just stay back.

IMO, Wenger need a good penalty taker..those with shearer-style...also need train more penalty taking practice maybe? AA23 PK last night was awful...'gugup' n pressure maybe....

but still a great win smile.gif

oh wow..arsenal win!! biggrin.gif

we finally have another person who could make a difference...jack wilshere..great performance from him..

and chamakh...individually still reserving my comments as its only a few games into the season..but team wise, how many red cards and penalties had he earned for us since the first game? thumbup.gif

and fabianski, hope its not just a one day thing when you are on form.

Finally ? Give this kinda performance consistently for another season, or this whole season, then maybe we FINALLY have somebody coming of age. Until then... there's been a lot of "finally" this season so far.. us "finally" giving Cups a priority, Almunia "finally" being confident enuff, Fabianski "finally" loses his goose bumps.. finally this, finally that...

No doubt that Wilshere is a different player than last season though, I can see that. But to brand him a "finally" kinda player, maybe it's too early.

& a great win though, at least we can get our confidence back ahead of the weekend's game.

Didn't watch the match but regardless of the penalty , how was the defense overall ?

Added on September 29, 2010, 9:45 amTo have conceded penalty twice is quite worrying .

Added on September 29, 2010, 9:48 amI can see that Gibbs is ready to play too , good bye Clichy .

i told u so, fabianski turn on his godlike mode, hope he can withstand Drogba, Malouda, Anelka, Essien >.<"

but again, usually after several games, he will flop again, just like Mannone, Alunmnia (lehman) that time
