the lampard and the kalou(benayoun isn't that important to chelsea so that's not a problem to them_
Yup. Against City they seemed to be struggling to find creativity. From what I understand they attributed that to the lack of Lampard in their midfield. Drogba too were just a shadow of himself. But he has a knack for scoring against us, so Laci & Koci might want to keep him shackled throughout. Their dangerman so far is the Incredible Sulk.
And they might unleash Joshua McEachran too, perhaps for creativity. That will make for an interesting battle of Josh vs Jack.
On paper, we don't have much of a chance, and honestly, while taking off my rose tinted glasses, I really don't fancy our chances.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not the new Mr. Kacang or trying to be our resident bomoh predicting scores, but it is really an uphill task our lads are facing.
But that doesn't mean I'm not supporting them though. I'm hoping the very least a draw, and Dogbra pulls a hamstring or something in the 30th second...
Rather than wishing Fabianski flop or get himself injured in the next match, I wish him to have a great game to build up the form and momentum against Chelsea. In short, I prefer an on-form Fabianski compared to Szczesny or Vito who do not have much matches under their belts.
I admit our problems with GK but it is the time to hope for the better with what we have - not the other way around. But seriously, (call me chicken-out or something but ) I am nervous with our match against Chelsea
any arsenal games, im sure all the fans are nervous
For this season, I'll be really nervous when they play Chelsea, MU and MC... as well as Liverpool which was lucky (liverpool's long ball was REALLY dangerous).
OptaJoe Opta Sports 3 - Arsenal haven’t won away in Europe against teams from any of the three countries they must visit in this season’s Champions League. Lost
so we have never beaten partizan belgrade on their own ground? =/

that means arsenal have never won away in ukraine, serbia and portugal.
No no no. We want the team to win. If Fabianski become very good tonight, then it's good - I still don't want him for Chelsea though. But if he flops, I want him to flop hard. So hard that Wenger will give him a permanent head injury and drop him to the bottom of the pecking order.
Just to make us happy with our current goalkeeping situation, here's one idiotic goalkeeper that we're lucky not to get.
guess what? weeks later he did another blunder and subtitute himself out:sweat:

"Arsenal fans, after all, have already gone from being disappointed to virtual ridicule with their tendency to cheer ironically whenever he makes even the post routine of catches."
