Messi was playing and he score the 1 goal.

Now every team in la liga playing the park every man behind the penalty box line and counter attack = salvaging a draw or win against Barca.

Who cares if they had 90% possession lulz

Btw, Tevez made as a captain probably made him more arrogant. I thought Toure(both of Yaya or Kolo) will make a better captain hmm.gif. But who cares?

Arsenal captain armband also like playing passing rclxub.gif

Abou Diaby: I Turned Down Chelsea To Sign For Arsenal
Midfielder reveals his dream of winning the Ballon d'Or
By Alex Dimond
Oct 6, 2010 3:47:00 PM

Arsenal's gangly midfielder Abou Diaby has revealed he turned down Chelsea and Jose Mourinho to sign for the Gunners five years ago.

The 24-year-old, who became one of the hottest properties in Europe after breaking through the ranks as a teenager at French side Auxerre, has admitted that the Blues were very keen to sign him in 2005, with their Portuguese manager even coming to talk to him about his plans for the future.

But it was the opportunity to become the heir to Patrick Vieira at Highbury, along with a cautionary tale from countryman Lassana Diarra, that eventually made up his mind to work with Arsene Wenger.

"Did Chelsea try to sign me in 2005? Yes, but it was very complex," Diaby told L'Equipe.

"I visited the facilities but when I was there I had a chat with Lassana Diarra and he told me: 'Abou, I have not played for three months'. That made me hesitate.

"I even had a chat with Jose Mourinho. He was very frank and told me: 'I have a big team, with big players and I can't guarantee you anything, but we do want you'.

"Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger told me that he was looking for a midfielder to replace Vieira, that I had the same profile and that I would play.

"Also, at that time, Arsenal had the French connection. Robert Pires and Thierry Henry were there, and that makes you dream.

"There were choices to make and Arsenal wanted me. They seemed exciting to me."

Diaby has had a mixed time at the north London club since his move, occasionally showing glimpses of world-class ability, but more frequently infuriating fans with his inability to progress to the highest level. But the Frenchman believes he still has time to reach the very highest echelons of the game.

"People told me: 'You will make a complete mess if you go abroad so young'. But I have my own objectives and I have tried to match them," he said.

"I want to play for a big club, be in the French team and be a great player.

"I dream of winning the Ballon d'Or. I hope to win it one day. There is no shame in saying that."

Walcott and r.v.p should not be too long either.

By November, hopefully all of us can see the 100% full Arsenal power.

afraid the player over confident...same as when we face west brom

Not over confident imo. But West Brom is really different. Their mind sets is not to come and hey lets settle for a point. Even a good fought lose isn't that bad but we "must" win them.

Counter attack play on any team thats passes so well like Barcelona works.

And i don't think so Birmingham can adapt to that style well enough though.

Furthermore, we have Bendtner to score our last seconds goal thumbup.gif

Theo Walcott is back in the Arsenal squad for Saturday’s game against Birmingham - but Laurent Koscielny will miss out.

The centre back has been struggling with a back problem and his absence may open the door for Johan Djourou to return to the side with Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles) also injured.

Arsène Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Thursday that Walcott could return from the ankle problem he suffered on international duty five weeks ago and those plans were firmed up at the manager’s pre-match press conference.

“We have Theo Walcott who is coming back and we have Nicklas Bendtner back in the squad. The team is not picked yet, but they are back in the squad,” said Wenger.

“It is good because they have been out for quite a while. Since last November, Bendtner has been in and out, and he was never really himself. Walcott has been out now for five weeks so it is good to have them back.”

Then came the bad news.

“We have lost Laurent Koscielny who is injured with his back. Thomas Vermaelen is still out, he is ten days away,” reported Wenger.

The Frenchman also confirmed that Cesc Fabregas would miss the visit of Birmingham but the captain could return to face Shakhtar Donetsk at Emirates Stadium three days later.

“He has a chance for Tuesday,” said Wenger. “I thought he would play tomorrow. There is nothing specially wrong, he is just a bit short for tomorrow.”

Before match all predict arsenal to lose and etc. After win now complain lousy play etc.

1. We just finish international.
2. The back four is only 50% of first teamer.
3. Fabregas, Walcott, Rvp are not even playing.
4. Win is a win. We won this week in term of points count.

Surprisingly goal.com gave motm to Diaby.

Carlos Tevez really the best striker in BPL atm. Super hardworking, very sharp and everything a striker really needs.

Btw i don't feel it is right to ask favor from Blackpool to drop ManCity points.

Bendtner will be a perfect sub for Chamakh since they both are basically playing the same style and area and expect Bendtner to play a big part in this year Arsenal's run too since v.persie is always in and out the treatment room.

The red card for Wilshere couldn't come on a worst time since this weekend Arsenal will face ManCity but it could be a blessing in disguise as i believe once he return he will be stronger and get out of the immature minded shell.

I wonder is Vermaelan or Koscielny is fit for this weekend match? Return of Walcott too hopefully.

Away.

Very very tough fixture and very important too. Nothing is impossible anyway.

But concentrate on Shaktar Donesk first yea.
