Yeah, a phone and iPod touch. Both still can fit in my pocket just fine. What I mean with 'extra baggage' is I don't have to carry it in my hand or carry a bag to keep it around. You see, I'm not a really a big fan of apple, especially of that iPhone. But I can't deny that the screen and most of their games are so easy on the eyes and that is the sole reason I have an iPod. Everything else, I leave it for my android to handle it.

I see the "extra baggage" point but the iPod touch itself belongs to that category, from all angle.
If you're comparing the iPod touch with other portable gaming devices, then the iPod touch wins, in terms of dimension and weight, and your post rules BUT it's still an "extra baggage" that needs to be carried around and dealt with.
You'll never leave your phone, regardless of the brand or model, at home and bring the iPod touch out, on any given day, but you might consider and in fact, will do the opposite when the situation calls for and when that happens, the mind will register the thought that the iPod touch is an "extra baggage" and whatever experience it offered, suddenly can be found on your smartphone or worst, you wouldn't be bothered of it at all if you're using a normal phone, say Nokia 3315. At that point, you wouldn't mind forgoing the entire gaming experience on the iPod touch just for sake of convenience.
In your case, however, since you said you own an Android, there's no point getting the iPhone, unless you want to switch, which you clearly indicated lack of interest for it, so ...
