now i see a big pineapple on the ipod saying moving applications. how long will it take? the bar like not moving at all...

I guess nothing's wrong with my ipod then...

Just bought an ipod touch. I heard you have to sync the ipod with your pc. Does that mean whatever music and videos thats in your ipod must also be in your pc? Is there any way for me not to sync it? I would like to transfer the files from my pc to the ipod and later delete the files from my pc because I don't have enough space to store everything.

yes, you have to sync and it will delete songs that is not in your itunes library.

back your music up using an external i guess?

yes it has to be in the pc when you sync it in itunes (there's no way to copy songs directly into ur ipod touch like a usb drive). remember to set your itunes to not auto sync, otherwise the songs in ur ipod will be deleted when u sync it next time after u delete the songs from ur pc.

video is more troublesome...must be mp4 or mov format

How come sometimes when I try to open an app, it does not open? When I click on it the screen turns black for a second and nothing happens. Seems to work when I tried a while later. Happens quite often.
