oh i get it.. so is some sort of portable media player right?
Yup, with the functions of a Personal Digital Assistant as well... Why PDA, you may ask? Well, other than the obvious entertainment value the iPod touch offers (games, Music, Facebook, Twitter), I'm using it as a working device courtesy of these apps:
- Calendars (appointment scheduler)
- ToDo (task management)
- iXpenseIt (expense tracking + recording)
- Notebook (handy notepad, alternative to the built-in Notes)
- Bloomberg (monitoring the KL + regional bourses and selected stocks)
- CNBC (business news)
- Currencies (foreign exchange)
- And many more!
In other words, think of the touch as an MP3 player, combined with the usage of a Palm / Windows Mobile device but with loads more great software to download from the App Store and minus the phone functions!
