Guys, some free advice if u don't want to wait. Wait till queue clears first, get number and come back later only to collect phone. After getting number you can go back watch tv, sleep, chat or perhaps even shop. Then come back later and speak to a maxis rep informing them you missed your number if the number has already passed. This beats waiting for 7-8 hours there... Wat they did yesterday was to allow those (who genuinely missed) who picked up their numbers earlier but unable to wait for hours get in without needing to get a new number.

However, just to double confirm try to speak to one of the senior customer reps to reconfirm that this still applies.

Go later (perhaps after 11am) after the first group for session has cleared, get your number quickly and come back later in the evening. Based on yesterday events even if your number has been missed as long as it was for the SAME day you can get in if you speak to the maxis staff.
