one more question, is it worth to pay extra for 7200rpm hdd o juz get d normal hdd...price RM60 expensive
got any advantage?

No...
Just shaving of an extra couple of seconds in installing and loading games from the HDD, nothing much.
In the expense of a little more extra heat also.

So.. no, not worth the extra RM60.
Better you keep it to get a game instead.

guys.. i just got my new SLIM yesterday..
replacing my PHAT..
weird thing is the SLIM is damn much hotter than PHAT..
issit normal due to it's compact size?
must i buy a fan?
i play normaly 5-6 hours weekdays
and somthime 24/7 weekend

Hey guys,whats the fastest way to download a demo ? I tried downloading it in my PS3(NFS:HotPursuit)but it was so effing slow!!!

you can use back-up utility.just connect ur external hdd (formatted to fat32) at the ps3 and go to System Setting tab on XMB.after that,just connect the external hdd at ur slim and go to System Setting and copy the back-up data.as for games,u need to redload it from PSN.but new fw got System Transfer mode where u need to connect both console using ethernet cable and transfer the data.

FYI,YLOD is problem usually happen to PHAT PS3 and it cannot be repaired.if can it only temporary.so,better save money to buy SLIM if ur PHAT show YLOD symptom such as loud fan/shutdown by itself/blinking yellow light on the power button.
