QUOTE(tiraevo @ Oct 8 2010, 12:03 PM) means the longest length get the low quality video ? The longer the length of the cable, the better quality HDMI cable you'd want. More so if you're going to put it behind your walls (where there might be bugs, water leaks and termites and what not). But all these are only applicable if you're only getting a HDMI cable that is 40 meters long atleast, or more. If you're just getting a HDMI cable that is 3 meters long, don't even bother getting those highly, overpriced and stupidly advertised HDMI cables. Getting one from Carrefour or just any LYP shop for less than RM30 is more than all you need.

QUOTE(shahreza2000 @ Oct 11 2010, 03:33 PM) used ps2 component cable for testing got hd output (i tried 720p)...the colours are not as good as hdmi output... Yea. Not as good because with Component, we cannot enable Deep Color and Full RGB. So the contrast and colors would appear washed out, but that's the nature of how the game would look without any "enhancements".

QUOTE(KakiGamer69 @ Oct 13 2010, 02:58 PM) so the red circle TOSlink optical wont work with PS3 optical? Nope obviously cannot. PS3 is audio out. Your mobo is also audio out. Out and Out obviously means that it won't work.

QUOTE(xaxier83 @ Oct 19 2010, 06:30 PM) Yea, mine have as well ....but just a question, if don't have, consider fake? Possibly. But understand that the scratches can fade away. I took a look at a couple of old DS3s of mine that is quite worn out, the scratches are so faint I needed to use a magnifying glass to see them. But of course, if the controller is new and theres no scratches there, pretty much fake.

QUOTE(BotakPrince @ Oct 19 2010, 11:09 PM) are the scratches supposed to be "red coloured"? i have 2 ds3's... 1 was OEM with the machine when i bought it (in sony centre) and the other is also bought in sony centre...but i cant see those scratches...... The scratches are transparent colored. TongCN made it red to make it easier for people to notice where they are. Like I said in my previous post, the scratches can dissaper or even get till the point of it being so fain that you'll need a magnifying glass and good lighting to see. Try that, and if there's no scratches you can always resort to the other methods in checking your controller being original or not. Of course, chances are high that they are original since you got it from Sony stores.

QUOTE(kakuta @ Oct 25 2010, 01:18 PM) i don't think i have another one, but is it possible i ask the seller to change a new one for me? Well you should ask him to change one for you. The only other issues I can think of is that there is a problem with your HDMI port, which I think is unlikely.

QUOTE(mingxhin @ Oct 28 2010, 01:23 PM) ok thx one more question, is it worth to pay extra for 7200rpm hdd o juz get d normal hdd...price RM60 expensive got any advantage? No... Just shaving of an extra couple of seconds in installing and loading games from the HDD, nothing much. In the expense of a little more extra heat also. So.. no, not worth the extra RM60. Better you keep it to get a game instead.

QUOTE(Xirality @ Nov 2 2010, 02:12 PM) Are you really that lazy? QUOTE(shahreza2000 @ Sep 22 2010, 05:28 PM) Q) I'm using PS3 with PC monitor. But the monitor don't have speaker/sound. How? A) You need a 2.1 speaker set. For the audio, you need to get yourself a Y-splitter cable. Like this: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Then, connect the composite cable to the back of your PS3, the red and white audio to the Y-splitter, and the other end of the Y-splitter to your speakers. Just ask any computer shop for it. Must have one. Only RM10 I think. - TheUndead The Y-splitter cable RM4-5 bucks if u buy from imbi plaza , electrical shop behind imbi mario, they have a lot of conversion cables of any type - Synco Can also buy at Jalan Pasar - theGOne It's all the explanation you need.
