So today got new update hmm. Whats new or just this to fix security reason only?

firmware 3.56 is out!

do we need to manually update it or it will update itself?

anyone here bought ps3 at sony style? last time i bought ps3, need to buy at least 1 game. i can't buy the console only, MUST buy the game.

my question is, i'm going to buy ps3 at sony style, is it still same like last time? need to buy game to get a console?

it will ask tu update once u logon tu PSN..but normally i just download the FW using a PC..then update the FW using thumb drive

afaik there's no such rules at SS..only the branch who making the rules like that

what's wrong with sony today?
i know la you got ps meeting,but why no link for download updates using pc?
and why if downloads using ps3 always failed?

Actually the same rules also implies at the sonystyle store except if you but through sonystyle online. But the thing is sonystyle online really fuk up big time. Services really slow. I ordered since last week but until today got no respond from them. Even made a 2nd order also same. Memang tidur betul sony staff. Nak bagi duit pun tak nak. Bodoh betul.

Rules tu mesti coz games diaorg x laku,so tu yg paksa kita beli 1 game gak tu

Haih ... same experience for me with SonyStyle Online service ... betul macam u bilang, nak bagi duit pun tak nak, macam sibuk sangat business sampai business kecik ignored or pass to other staffs, then forgotten, no follow-up. U made 2nd order; I called at least four times to 'chase' them to take money from me ... pun same response, takde stok, perlu tunggu, when confirm got, will contact u back ... in the end, I gave up oredi.

Actually I send e-mails to them few times already but not calling them because long time ago I called their CIC the operator semua x tahu. Asking questions she don't know just said she will refer to her immediate superior or other staff. I thought I just unlucky since maybe they are in a holiday mode. But if the same case happened to you then their services really sux to the max and become worse day by day. This is what happened if the company think they already control the market thus no need to improve services since we malaysians will still buy their products.

it's okay for me to buy at least 1 game like they said. but the thing that make me angry is the game sikit sangat and the game title is such a noob game. annoying
