I roughly describe from wat i remember last time i bought it...got 2 pairs of red and white cables.1 pair of red and white cable connect both my base(volume control) and speakers.Then the another pair connect both my gaming rig and my base(volume control).I try draw a bit hehe...

Therefore,my base(volume control box) got 4 audio port.2 white and 2 red.

Shahreza2000 suggested me to use AV switch to switch between gaming rig and Ps3 for the speakers.

hey guys, want to ask. if i am download something from PSN store and i pause it and shut off my ps3. can i resume it next time when i open my ps3 again?

subscribe to PSN Plus

you can set auto-download including game patches, demos, etc at set of time

when the ps3 finish download it will shutdown

i've purchased PSN+ for US psn id for 3-month, for abt USD20

one year+3 month around USD50

for other region, just check the psn store prices....

so far its worth it thumbup.gif

Hi,

Just owned a ps3 here. Was wondering whether there's any advantage to let our unit stand vertical? And will this affect the life span of the lens etc? Can't find much info from the manual. And should the usb side be closer to the floor or other way round when standing? Thanks

vertical/horizontal - ps3 working fine as long u give some space for air-flow

get those cheap ps3 stand, usually usb at the bottom.

fat32 formatter can't detect my thumb drive..
already formatted my 2 hdd to upgrade my console to 500gb.. but dont know what to do with thumbdrive.

ive checked the faq thread. it shows how to upgrade but not how to format.
