there is no more 40gb / 120gb ps3. the latest version are now the 160gb / 320gb. be smart, buy from sony malaysia or from trusted sellers here.

by any chance,did u see it in Ipoh Parade?its a recon unit.better get the official MY set from Sony Center at Kinta City (near foodcourt).

buy one HDMI to DVI cable and get one Y-splitter to connect your speaker. erm.. you can upgrade if you buy 160G but with only rm 60 difference you can get 160G which is quite a good deal for me. that is why i bought 320G white colour.

not all BD games need to be install...cuz the game will run when u insert the disk.

only some CAN be install to ur HDD so that it decrease the loading screen etc...not meaning u can play the game without the disk ya?
most of the BD games that have multiplayer/bug/glithes will also prompt about patch update. this will eat some of ur HDD...

as for PSN games, that is the one that u need to install on ur HDD...u dont install it u cant play it...u want to install it u need to buy it...thru PSstore ( one of the PS3 apps )

u'r monitor already got HDMI port..so why do u need to get Y-splitter?

u can use HDMI for video+audio...then u connect u'r speaker direct to the output audio at u'r monitor

there's is no such not-ori PS3..all comes from sony..only DS3 got fake...the most important thing u better get a MY set..hassle free..100% guarantee original stuff and warranty

A HDMI cable is both audio and video. A DVI cable is for video only. So common sense u need to have a separate audio cable if u use a DVI cable. In my opinion better use the HDMI port. Less wire hassle. If your monitor have only one port, then i suggest u buy a HDMI switcher. So u can switch which input you want. The PC or PS3.

Does your monitor have inbuilt speaker? If yes, the sound will come out from monitor speakers. Because a HDMI = Video+Audio. If you want to use your Sonic gear, then you should use the Y splitter method.

But from your LCD spec u give, your lcd got audio out. U can use that too.

So.. if my theory are correct, the audio signal from the HDMI cable stops there. So buy a audio cable, and jack it into your input speaker.

u monitor got no SPEAKERS but must have the speaker PORTS...afaik all the HDMI monitor should have the port since HDMI carrying AV
