desire's multi touch prob ... everyone have this?
i doesnt affect daily usage but when it comes to gaming =/ sad
*
true

and every desire will have this multi-touch problem,
which makes desire really not suitable as a gaming device.
however, there are still plenty of games that the desire can play with tongue.gif

quick question,

the stock earphones produce sucky bass.

any recommendations ?
*
you mean you want to get a new earphone or how to "enhance" the bass using the stock earphone?

if you want to get a new earphone, do you want something that is able to do hands free as well, or just plain music listening?

and what is your budget exactly?

if want to enhance the sound quality using the standard earphone, what do you suggest?
*
only thing I can say is to get a better earphone, the stock ones no matter which brand, just sucks.
they're good enough to produce sound, but that's just about it.

plus, there's just isn't anything you can do to help the sound quality as the Desire itself is already a poor music player,
though I'm comparing it with a dedicated mp3 player, so it isn't fair to begin with.
I've even tried using lossless files, their still not up to par compared to a my mp3 player

Personally I'm not using the Desire as my primary portable music player so..I can't really help here. tongue.gif
but if you're looking for a replace for the stock earphones, there are plenty of choices to choose from depending on your budget.

I read a lot reviews online.. Some say don't waste money..Some say it's much faster..Some say the the brand is very important..I'm really confused with all the comments  rclxub.gif

Hoping some desire bros tested both so can get a more definite comment.. notworthy.gif

I ran a speed test for my sd card..it says my write is 2mb/s while read is 11mb/sec and it says its class 2 when in fact its class 4 shocking.gif
*
did you tried running the test multiple times?
I'm not sure about other cards, but I'm using kingmax 8gb class 10,
best result I got out of the 3 tests I ran is 7mb write 10mb read
hope it helps. smile.gif

It is smooth. But sometimes draining the battery for no reason (maybe some other apps causing it)

HTC Desire is still a great phone, and it's attracting some curious iPhone 4 users as well flex.gif
*
the Desire sure is a great phone,
it even won the 2010 phone of the year award from t3! flex.gif
which I've posted about it just yesterday.

m a iphone 3gs user ,can consider a semi pro for ios espcially on cydia.

it depends on the user, if you're asking here, then of course you'll get positive feedbacks about the Desire. tongue.gif
one thing is for sure, is that it is different from the ios.

how many apps have you installed?
do note that there are apps that MUST be installed in the phone's storage, such as widgets, and apps like Adobe Flash,
also some apps even though they're installed in SD, there are still small part of it being installed in the phone's memory.

perhaps for all the trouble you're going through, it is better for you to just root your phone and flash a ROM that has A2SD+

currently in my phone, from the app drawer I've counted 105 apps,
my internal storage left 56MB, A2SD storage partitioned 512MB, 457MB available, 197MB left.

care to elaborate more on how desire beat iphone 4? was arguing with my fren about how good is desire/android compare to his iphone 4...
give me some point so i can counter back. ahah
*
if you have rooted your phone, you can easily show how good the Desire is.

crazy options for customizations, flash content support, widgets, blue tooth sharing, tons of options for keyboards (best for me is swype),
don't need any itunes or funbox to transfer files, just plug and play, or better yet, transfer via wifi using wifi file explorer, and many more.

to show off your phone, you just need to know how capable the Desire/Android is. nod.gif

dude..you are so wrong man..
iphone 3g already have this way before froyo dude

the way iPhone do internet tethering is different compared to Androids.

they requires USB connection to the PC that you're using, or at least bluetooth connection.

for Android phones, multiple PC can be connected to one phone as the phone acts as a Wifi router.

unless the iPhone is jailbroken, there's no way for it to be used as Wifi hotspot.

why bother getting a sis set when your going to root it,
rooting will void your warranty and
the only difference between a sis set and ap set is the warranty

that is after you unroot it back,
but the fact remains that rooting does void warranty
also, if you don't even know how to root,
how are you going to un root smile.gif
but all I wanted to say is that if you're going to root your phone,
why not go for ap set and save that few hundred bucks

any auraxtsense 8.0 users feel that this particular Rom is really laggy? especially after  linking fb contacts..?
*
in what way is it laggy?

I'm on 8.0, already synced to fb, I don't experience any lag that is significant enough to call it "really laggy"
in fact, I feel that its actually smoother compared to 7.6.1 hmm.gif
