Flashed that yesterday as well.....
Nice indeed,
It is on launcher pro with htc stuff....
but super circle battery mod doesn't work~~
are you using the 0.48 radio? Do you flash the RIL?

will try the launcher without sense on modaco r9 when Paul did the update later.... laugh.gif  laugh.gif
*
i'm using the .14 radio, hmm yeah that .048 lah. Planning to go back to .44...... .30_2 though but still want to test the latest radio. I dont even know what RIL is. I flash it normally.

SuperVillain is a must if you're looking fast and minimalistic design ROM biggrin.gif

Now I just need a better Power Control widget and its all done tongue.gif

EDIT: btw, regarding the UV Kernel, its enabled by default right? Do we need to configure anything? hmm.gif
*
Plus it has no bugs too...biggrin.gif

no need to wpie cach if i'm flashing from auraxtsense 7.6.1 right?

i don't think it's a major change, just updates and stuff, no?
*
Well just try it. Nandroid backup, flash without wipe and see if got problems. If got, flash with wipe. Since it changes the kernel and base.

How's the battery life?
some said great some said drain battery... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
dont know who to believe...haha

Seems great so far. I even put the .30_2 in my SD to flash it back. but .14 seems quite ok. am testing it a bit more. 20 hours and 40% left. With calls, msgs, alarms(lol i didnt wake up, 3 alarms and lots of snooze), playing a game, and browsing news a bit.

Thank you. I'm thinking of flashing the new AuraxTSense 7.7 but afraid its going to be tedious to restore all my apps etc tongue.gif

I always installed all over again from scratch...haha.... cuz i always going back to Sense/Vanilla ROM. if sense to sense should be safer in my opinion cuz those two UI got a little bit different implementation....biggrin.gif but after i bought Titanium Premium license, then i use it. its faster now, and safe.

QUOTE(menghua84 @ Oct 1 2010, 04:26 PM)

anyone can enlighten me on my Q's...???thanx... smile.gif

Yes we root and install custom rom cuz of tweaks, deodexed and some other features the dev offered.

and yes you can root and use the stock rom, but you wont be able to flash custom icons on notification bars and such cuz the stock rom are odexed. but you can access paid markets, make a nandroid backup and others that a non-rooted phone could do. Tweaks? you mean? in terms of customization, you're limited. in term of perfomance, i'm not sure cuz you need to flash kernels and stuffs, i dont know...mostly people just flash an undervolted custom rom made by devs edy.

so u means that after create the nandroid backup just install the .zip from sd card??
*
Yup, absolutely. Anything on whatever you gonna do using the recovery(flashing zips especially), need to nandroid first. I prefer 2 weeks per backup, as I'll have trauma if my stuffs(especially sms's and call logs), and thats if i didnt flash a new rom in those times. the longest i can hold from flashing a rom is 1 month...lolz...tongue.gif

Erm i have a problem. I just flashed AuraxTsense 7.7. Everything seemed to go well..i restored everything using Titanium Backup. But when I restart my phone, all my widgets are gone, except the original HTC Sense widgets. There are still at my app list, but no longer at the widget list. I tried using TB to restore everything again, but the same thing happened once i reboot.

Am i missing anything??
*
got 2 probablity;

1) You dont have A2SD+

2)You have A2SD+ but you set your settings so they install on external. it should be default.

Hi guys,
I am new to flashing android rom, since upgrade to 2.2 OTA, i have no issue for my daily usage, but the problem now with my HTC desire is low in ROM storage, even the app can A2SD original, but the function do not help anyway... after the new skype install, my storage become low.

So, anyone of you here are happy with your rooted-custom rom HTC desire with A2SD+? did A2SD+ really makes ur SD card partition ext3 , to the ROM ???

i hope to make my 8G micro-SD become 4G extra ext3 partition, 4G extra fat32 storage, can it be done?

hope you guys get my question.
*
to be honest mate, what kind of apps you want to install for a 4GB ext partition? i'm using 512mb only, and still got 269mb left. and this is by installing more apps than i've ever use.

and of course we are happy with our rooted device + customizations + A2SD+, and i am yet to see any person didntl like a rooted device.

and yes it is possible to do the 4GB ext using amonra recovery or linux.

QUOTE(Cynox @ Oct 21 2010, 10:40 AM)
AuraxTSense has removed most of the apps - plurk and RSS are removed, Friend Stream still remain though.  I read somewhere you can open the ROM zip files and delete whatever default apps you dun want and save the zip file (NOT unzip, delete, zip back).  Just open the zip file with winrar and delete the files, save the modified zip file.  But I not yet try it myself coz sometime this may cause a corrupted ROM file - so TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK if you really want to try.  Or best you head to XDA to read more about this.  smile.gif
*
i deleted the apps directly like that and installed without any hassle. But worked on SuperVillain, not on LeeDroid. On SV, i deleted all apps that i dont want and it booted fine but beware, deleting FriendStream will drain battery faster as it will autosync! on LeeDroid, i tried removing unwanted apps but cant boot after flash.

whatever it is, nandroid backup first!
