QUOTE(leonghan @ Apr 4 2012, 04:58 PM) Format an SD card in ur camera. Copy over the file into your newly formatted SD card. Insert SD card into camera. Make sure battery is charged. Hold down back button and turn on camera. It should ask you whether you want to upgrade your firmware. Say yes. Wait until done.TAKE OUT SD CARD AND REINSERT YOUR ORIGINAL SD CARD WITH YOUR PICTURES IN IT. THEN ONLY TURN ON THE CAMERA! Make sure you follow the last step otherwise you lose your photo numbering. Also take note of your custom settings as you will lose those in the firmware update. Good luck! |

Apparently if you have an internet connection and use the iCloud service then iPhoto will automatically sync and backup your photos to iCloud. Peace of mind when you are travelling...

Bob the Builder...
1/56s, f2.0, ISO800 Note the green alien blobs from the reflections off my filter.... :-( 1/125s, f2.0, ISO800 Added on April 21, 2012, 12:16 pmThere may be fuji apples but one thing's for sure, Fuji doesn't seem to go well with Apple.... Have been using Picasa to download pictures to my PC. Have been locking the SD card before downloading to prevent any strange files from being written onto my SD card causing the dreaded X100 slow start up times. Had to download something on a Mac so did the same thing and locked the SD card before using a card reader to transfer some files to the Mac. Amazingly, despite the card being locked when I tried using the X100 again it took ages for it to start up..... No idea why.... maybe Fuji is allergic to apples.... Just saw this in the morning....
http://www.laroquephoto.com/blog/2012/4/30...-strap-lug.html Checked mine and a little worn out already. Have been using the original triangular shaped rings which may not be so good. Anyone know where I can get some round rings? |

QUOTE(hidden830726 @ May 6 2012, 08:15 PM) Seriously, once i put on the adptor and hood, no way i can put them back into the leather case, how are u guys deal with that? I only use the hood when I know I'll be shooting something and the camera is not going to be in the bag. Otherwise I just leave the hood off and depend on the filter + adaptor for protection and stuff it into a small bag.How to carry around? just put in a bag? |

QUOTE(C-Fu @ May 10 2012, 04:03 PM) meh, no such thing as "overpriced" ler. if i want to sell a water bottle for a million bucks, i can. if you want to pay 2 million for it, you can. Fully agree. It's not how much you want to sell something for but rather how much people are willing to pay for it.it can (thereotically) be "overpriced" if they set a price, and nobody buys it. but this is not the case. and if it is indeed "overpriced" to you, then you are simply not their market la. so move on with your life already I would be willing to pay for a XP1 but willingness and having the $$$ are two different things. :-) |

I think X100 better choice than X10. IQ and high ISO performance is much much better than the X10.
