QUOTE(Sky.Live @ Sep 21 2010, 01:13 AM) Fixed Focal Length meaning that you only have a standard focal length range? let's say 0.1 ~ 10m, beyond or or below that would be out of focus? Means cannot zoom. Angle of view is fixed. So zoom with your feet lorr. Added on September 21, 2010, 9:20 am QUOTE(exkay @ Sep 21 2010, 09:12 AM) Yes. I think normally there are two windows and a mirror mechanism which makes two separate image coincident. I don't see two windows on this camera. Unless it uses an electronic ranging system, well I dunno. ![]() This post has been edited by HiroBoroi: Sep 21 2010, 09:20 AM |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Sep 21 2010, 09:56 AM) Now that the X100 is out, I'm just wondering whether the Leica X1 is actually a Fuji camera with Leica red dot pasted on. Maybe not as obvious as the PanaLeicas but still, makes me wonder |

QUOTE The Leica Digilux 1 was released in 2002, roughly the same time as the Canon G2 and the Nikon 2000. It is the second of Leica's digital offerings. Where the original Digilux was developed in partnership with Fuji Camera, the Digilux 1 was developed in partnership with Panasonic ... (bla bla bla) From Wiki. p/s - I think this Fuji connection is coming from Erwin Puts' blog. |

From Japan sources of 120,000 yen to 150,000 yen roughly will convert to USD1,400 to USD1,700.
Hmmm.. pricey. |
