QUOTE(Cuffz @ Nov 9 2012, 03:50 PM) maybe crumpler or artisan & artist or even ngeo. YL has options and choices...I meant if you choose to have a feel prior buying. online there are a plenty to choose from.... I got my Think Tank Retrospective 5 from YL Pudu. Nice! Especially in Pinestone... Discreet. Big enough for my X100 and hopefully soon to cone X-E1....

QUOTE(Thalmes @ Dec 2 2012, 11:54 PM) Hey guys , New X100 owner reporting in Got a cheap deal on this as someone was letting it go due to upgrades. Just one question i got, With the Fn button on the top right corner ... Is the button a bit "hard-ish" solid to press on ? Not like the bouncy type of button ( if you know what I mean , like PS3 controller where you get very good feedback / bouncy feeling ) Congrats on your purchase! Just out of curiosity I checked my Fn button and while its not soft/bouncy, it definitely isn't hard. There should be a click to the button when you depress it. Don't have to press very hard either. Just a light press.

QUOTE(ZzZzz... @ Dec 10 2012, 10:40 AM) hey guys, wonder why some x100 users having problem of dust enter in the lens or even the sensor? isn't the lens is fix? anyway to avoid these happen? Lens is fixed but focusing mechanism still moves. That's why I put a filter on mine. To protect it from dust.

Wow. X-Trans in a X100 body! Nice!
I'm sure it'll look more like the X-E1 but with a fixed 23mm lens.... Hopefully f1.4 or faster :-)

QUOTE(locksng12 @ Dec 18 2012, 03:46 PM) That's very sad. That menu button sounds are really annoying. Why don't you just turn all of the sounds off? I got mine completely silent. Very discreet. Focusing confirmation done by the color of the focusing square. There's also an AF! warning if its out of focus so shouldn't be that much of an issue.

The X100s uses an X-Trans sensor like the XP1/XE1 so pics should be similar. Having both the X100 and XE1, I don't know if I'm imagining things but the pics look subtly different... The XE1's seem sharper and more clinical while the X100's seem to have more.....'soul'. (hmm.... I sound like a 'Leica' fanboy now.... .) It would be interesting to see how the pics from the X100s compares with the X100. For me, other than the flexibility of changing lenses and having a zoom with my XE1.... I still prefer using my X100.

QUOTE(zaidee @ Jan 9 2013, 09:40 AM) For any potential Fuji user or someone looking for a walk around camera, this camera is a great choice for anyone who want a compact with a fixed lens system. For me I'm still keeping my X100 at the moment, because it still a great camera. Just remember, there will be also lots of fella selling their current X100 just to upgrade. So, it will be the best time if you looking for X100 at a bargain price Yes. The X100 is still a great camera. Surprising number of 'serious' photogs use it also. Just saw David Hobby aka The Strobist use one also in the latest DigitalRev video http://youtu.be/JnUavVTTjb8. Zack Arias also used on when he appeared on there... Will be interesting to try out the new X100s though.... Improved AF, X-Trans, etc. This post has been edited by seech: Jan 9 2013, 02:13 PM

I would wait for the X100s... The phase detection Xtrans sensor should be a good one.
I love my X100 but with the X100s looks like the perfect camera on paper....

QUOTE(mumeichan @ Feb 1 2013, 11:07 AM) Joining the club!! Had the x10 for 1 months and was so damnned impressed withe he IQ, sensor and OPTICS so I decided to get the x100. Just arrived this evening so haven't had a chance to take any pics yet. I've a concern though. When it is focusing, I can feel the vibrating of the focusing motors on my hand. Is that normal. It is quite strong too. Feels like krack krack krack krack krack. I don't feel anything when I focus with the x10 though or my previous Sony H50. Hmm.... Don't feel any major vibrations with mine..... Maybe can compare with another X100 in the shop?

QUOTE(lamjunrong @ Feb 4 2013, 08:46 AM) all fuji sifu, i currently being poisoned by IT fair yesterday in midvalley using fuji xpro1 and x100, and i would like to get one for street photography...wonder which has better price to performance ratio...(thinking of dumping GF3 and grab one of these) one thing i notice on x100 is the aperture blade then to be sticky (heard lot of ppl complain bout it) and does it affect performance when in like burst mode? just want some suggestion to help my decision on x100 or the more expensive xpro1, and i prefer optical viewfinder so not considering the XE-1...thanks by the way Wait for the X100s. It should be good!
