It was Nani who made the great run from the halfway line. He's turning into a great player for us finally biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Nice assist from Macheda, & fantastic finish by Chichaaaaaaarito! biggrin.gif

and do not forget , before that goal, he almost have 1 earlier but instead it was hitting the post..
then there's another 1 once nani dribbled Valencia defender and low cross it, i thought it was released for chicarito
and he did have a go with it but too bad it was blocked. tongue.gif
SAF introduced both of them at the right time (for this time) i guess. tongue.gif

I tell u if it was Evans instead of Ferdinand, we'd conceded. Ferdinand saved the defence quite a number of times..

hard fought match, and a very important win.we got a few players back in that match and at times looked a bit scrappy but the game really opened up in the 2nd half.besides a tough valencia side, the spanish heat was apparent and took its toll on the lads.

come on mate, thats not bad at all.we came on with an objective and did just that.valencia arent push overs.

a wonderful goal but all at the same time a very good link between nani, kiko and chicharito.all 3 of them made it possible.

Well, that is easy. We all know Ferdinand > Evans.

Experience wise, of coz Rio will win. Don't you think that SAF played Evans for some reasons?

I could give some examples,

1) Rio's injury.
2) To equip Evans with the necessary.

Heck, how could anyone forget that Evans was an integral part in our defense last year? Or how Rio was raped by Bellamy in Citeh's match? Give him some break. We have enough criticism over the weekend or the past 5-6 matches.

Back to the game,

Again, Carrick is underrated by many here. Good to see both Rio and Ando back. Berba needs a partner, whether he is in a great form or not. Rafael played well. Evra was skinned numerous of times by Pablo Hernandez. That being said, Park, Carrick and Fletcher are not in good form. Excuses are acceptable for both Park and Carrick, but Fletcher? Yet, Fletcher started to play well in the second half.

It was anyone's game in my opinion. We can see a lot of dangerous balls from Valencia yet they weren't playing good themselves. With the constant backing of the ref, which I thought most of La Liga players are pansys/faggots, they still playing negatively in the first half. Space opened up for us when the substitution for Valencia came in.

Great away win for us. Hopefully this will boost some morale for the players. thumbup.gif
