to be honest i dont think these should be an excuse anymore. if we were to win the title, we are expected to beat teams like Chelsea, Arsenal etc, to show supremacy over them and thus deserving the title. There is no point drawing/losing other teams and then comfort ourselves by saying they are on an unbeaten run, they are strong squad, we lose to them last season so a draw now is an improvement etc. Those excuse may be right, but as a title contender we are expected to beat the majority of them despite them being strong. no personal attack against you, but i believe rather than thinking our opponents are as good as us, we should start thinking that we are performing below par and should improve.

Maybe we are a bit unfortunate at the moment, with the unlucky pinball goal and a rare VDS error, but i am saying as an overall to the whole season so far. Need to get back on track ASAP, we won titles before on a strong defensive record and it's such an extreme different right now!

i didn't watch the whole match, family was watching Singapore v Selangor on tv.

but to draw, at home, against an in-form WBA, it's a mixed feeling situation.

1) to draw at home, and lost a two goal lead in the space of 5 minutes - ARGH WTF
2) to draw against an in-form WBA - hmm okay I guess

well time to put all the frustration in beating burssaspor full force and the avoid the europe blues for the stoke game.

we still managed a 1-0 tho but putting the chances no matterlah who ever gets that chance comes first.

my take on is a bit diffrent, i think its good that teams dont fear us.they should come at us full force, that way the lads wont be complacent and knows they have to fight tooth and nail for bloody every thing.thats how our was built, nothing came easy.bak kata"success x dtg melayang, goals x datang bergolek"\

wba really played well today.and if they can do more of the same like this against other top 4 im sure they can shave off pts from them.

now that up the gaffer to make sure our lads are ready and dont take anything for granted.so far this season, i think the only times we looked very complacent is at everton and fulham.other then those i think we did justice to ourselves and deserved the outcomes we had.

actually the 2 week break did seem good in the 1st half.the fitness level was top class and they have accustomed to the rigours of the new season.

i think if i were to hope or bank on something it still would be rooney.tho we lost valencia(whom i think would have exploded and supplied rooney with all the crisp pass, crosses he needs) rooney still the man for me to turn things around.a blind faith it maybe but rooney is hard to rule out

actually we did push, and didnt rest on it, but what we didnt do was actually score them.how many chances went begging in the 1st half wch should have handed us a comfortable win.im not sure why some of our fans are blaming ando, or vds for that matter.my opinion is the team should get the blame bcoz we didnt kill them off when we should have.

as for rooney on the flanks, i say its not particularly good idea.why sacrifice him yet again when he can be deadly up top.back then he was pushed there and it worked since ronaldo was blazing trough the front, but now even with chicha who has speed it has lesser chance of working.

he might be off form now but let him up top and he will bring home the goals.his touches are still good and his vision for goal and seeking out that options for goal is still apparent.

I actually feel really sorry for Sir Alex right now. He must've treated Rooney like his own son and now he's getting betrayed like this.

i was expecting this actually. From the way Rooney made his comment on his injury i already knew he made up his mind to search for a new club. the pressure of media really got the better of him. I'm pretty sure rooney now trying to run away from England in order to escape the media attention.
one word....immaturity. we all thought he grew up from being a hot temper brat into the most mature footballer ever but when the pressure took its toll, he's back to his old self only this time instead of proving himself on the pitch, he opted for an exit from Manchester United. SAF still have time to persuade Rooney to stay and sign a new contract or tried his hardest to get the optimum offer from other clubs for rooney next summer.

Critics on his performance during previous World Cup + pressure on his personal life by the media + his breaking relationship with wife surely the major contribution to his decision.
