QUOTE(dlct87 @ Oct 17 2010, 12:38 AM)
its good only if our own player is capable to deal with it....if they can't, might as well press the opponent upfront from the start until the end...we tend to enter "panic" mode when we are in this situation this season...dunno why...and the worse thing is, luck is not favoring us so far
*
now that up the gaffer to make sure our lads are ready and dont take anything for granted.so far this season, i think the only times we looked very complacent is at everton and fulham.other then those i think we did justice to ourselves and deserved the outcomes we had.

IT BETTER NOT BE ME.

I wonder what if United employed the same tactic as Liverpool to get their owners out, will it work on us?

QUOTE(leongtat @ Oct 17 2010, 12:24 AM)
Come on guys. U know we are not playing badly before we concede the first goal. Just we do not how to response when the team going all out on us. Everton and fulham is the best example. I still trust the team n I believe every team will have their downside. Even the superior real Madrid or Barcelona. They had their hard time. Most important is how we bounce back. I trust we will start winning again. Stop calling the team stupid. Everyone make mistake!
*
Exactly my point, dude. We are doing great, and then suddenly, Bang Bang. Not 1 week. Not 2 weeks. You make the count yourself.
And I did not call the team stupid. I was saying the way we conceded the goal, that's stupidity. It's not about about trust or believing tonite. These 2 have never leave me. It's about how shitty we look when we conceded the goals.

and i thought the international break will give them the time they need...apparently not sad.gif

those matches(fulham, everton) affect their mindset(omg opponent is coming what am i gonna do???)...that's why we still see these type of results...

maybe because I was watching Selangor kena whack 6-0 by Singapore, so I wasn't aware of individual performances, but I started to watch the match around 60++
WBA really played well, to be honest.

one thing I seriously notice is that, every team that plays against us, they will employ counter-attack. We, on the other hand, play it slow.

This is one thing I've been noticing of the late, Sunderland, WBA, Fulham. and to think United got lucky because the counter-attack didn't work out well.
*
We are the master of counter attacking. Look at last season against Arsenal, few seasons back against fulham, and alot more. The goals we conceded tonite, I dun think it's can consider counter attack.

well, the goals we conceded were of course not counter-attacks.

but this season, we barely even counter-attack. what the players do is, play it daaaaaamn slow, pass back to defence, pass to midfield, back to defence, then to right back, then to wing, cross, OH MISS LIAO, and then the opponent will counter attack.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO UNITED?!

we ARE the kings of counter-attacking, but this season, counter-attacking doesn't really work that well!

actually the 2 week break did seem good in the 1st half.the fitness level was top class and they have accustomed to the rigours of the new season.

i think if i were to hope or bank on something it still would be rooney.tho we lost valencia(whom i think would have exploded and supplied rooney with all the crisp pass, crosses he needs) rooney still the man for me to turn things around.a blind faith it maybe but rooney is hard to rule out biggrin.gif

disappointed..

as much as i want to blame vds i know its not fair to him..to be honest it was his first error in years as i can remember..

i cannot say we dont deserved 3 points cause i didnt watch the first 45 mins..but based on the second 45, we did not deserved all 3 points..WBA looks better for it..we have no real purpose going up..no determination what so ever..

as for rooney, come on..clearly there's still something bothering him..first touch was aweful..totally unlike him..his head is some where else and its not on the pitch..probably not at OT at all..

Valencia's injury is a major lost to the team....our formation had been skewed since Nani is deployed on the right wing, and thus our left wing is empty can't count on Giggs week in week out anymore; SAF seems not favoring Obertan at all; Park is still off form...and that's it, others like Anderson, Rooney isn't natural left wings

not to mention Evra is still "haunted" by the WC incident? or what happens to him actually?
