QUOTE(faridaizuddin @ Oct 29 2010, 10:33 AM) Galaxy Tab is decent enough to come out with 1GHz processor.. Unfortunately.. All software from Samsung just spoil it.. even adobe reader is sux. cannot jump page and the samsung one can't make use of thefull screen. cannot hide the top bar. waste space , and cannot remember last zoom factor

Does it true pinch to zoom in Tab is laggy and webpage loading is slow a bit? As one of the new owners who just caved in to Maxis regardless of the price, I tried loading www.gsmarena.com and the entire page with all the pictures, graphics, etc loaded in less than 10 secs. Compared to my SGS, this feels very much faster and very minimal lag. The pinch and zoom isn't as smooth as the iPad but it's still very minimal lag...i certainly have no complaints so far about the loading of webpages & zooming. Another thing I discovered was the GPS lock-on usually took about 5 secs or even less...BIG improvement over the SGS GPS.

But, I prefer to wait till Google release official Tablet OS then can compare between them..

For existing Maxis subscriber, when add data plan to get the Galaxy Tab, will they give you a new sim ? or use back your own sim?
If I don't plan to use the Tab as a phone, I need another sim right?

Does anybody know when the casing/pouch for the Tab will come out? I'm still using an iPad sleevecase as a temporary case.

Your laptop using Windows 7 or what? Coz my laptop before using Windows 7 ultimate also can't share through WiFi (which my laptop connected using broadband) to my phone.. If I'm not mistaken, I use WiFi hotspot software or what.. Forgot already coz after that I knew that can't use that software to share internet connectivity..

But that means, the Tab will become your phone too. If you do not want to use the Tab as a phone, then you will definitely need another sim.

Yup, no warranty card number but I think can still register with the IMEI and serial no. I'm using the maxis 3gb data plan which I signed up when I bought my SGS because I was also planning to use the SGS as a portable wifi hotspot. So currently the sim card is sitting inside the Tab while my SGS is now using a UK sim card together with wifi to access paid apps in the Android market.

But I've tried Sansung Galaxy S without sim and you could still use wifi to surf internet. I believe since Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab are both Android, it should't be a problem using wifi to surf internet on the Tab.
