For existing Maxis subscriber, when add data plan to get the Galaxy Tab, will they give you a new sim ? or use back your own sim?
If I don't plan to use the Tab as a phone, I need another sim right?

QUOTE(heartofjoy @ Oct 29 2010, 11:35 AM) If you are just adding data plan to your existing value plan, then you will need to use back the old sim. Thanks. But that means, the Tab will become your phone too. If you do not want to use the Tab as a phone, then you will definitely need another sim. If using prepaid internet for Galaxy Tab, when the credit runs out, can still use wifi? |

QUOTE(heartofjoy @ Oct 29 2010, 11:56 AM) I haven't tried Galaxy Tab without sim yet. Thank you.But I've tried Sansung Galaxy S without sim and you could still use wifi to surf internet. I believe since Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab are both Android, it should't be a problem using wifi to surf internet on the Tab. |
