Haha..yea man..off topic..lol..

Angry Birds is indeed not 3D..it is important to know that the 3D engine in the a10 is mainly for the 3D maps rendering and not gaming purposes. A10 is a mid range device. Not a high end one. It has more of chic flavor to it than monster specs smile.gif

The map can be upgraded using malsingmap like garmin xt right?

can we add in oversea map by our own? since i realised that their map is selling quite expensive.

Yes, you can use MFM as well as MSM on the A10 but there will be no JW or LA since the map does not support it.

what is JW and LA?
the digi package, rm68 is just for internet right...if i call some one, i need to pay rm68 + call charges...?

Yep..Thats how the plan goes..I think its a good deal smile.gif

Those are different formats for maps file. The only supported version on Garmin Asus A10 is .img format. ANY maps that you can find in .img format which you can use it in your usual GPD hardware is likely to work seemlessly with A10..

Hey, we're talking open source stuff here..We always need options wink.gif

Does this phone have Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate ?

Some review says it dont, some say yes. Not sure which to trust.

It does have multi touch..zooming etc nicely done..and yes,it has accelerometer..you can rotat your garmin maps to portrait or landscape view..

Home screen -> Menu -> Settings -> About -> Software

Firmware version is the OS version..In our case for Malaysia will be 2.1-update-1..

Another question .. Can we use the on screen keyboard in landscape view while sms-ing ? Or when using picture gallery ? It will auto rotate right.

if u r on a data plan, when u plug the phone, it should give u the option of sync, trnasfer files or tethering.. try it out..
