Ztan: Windows Movie Maker is a lousy software (free of course), It cant even render a High resolution output. If you interested in doing photo slideshow I suggest you the one I currently using...Pro ShowGold. Is simple & easy to use but u still get enough option to play around. You can either buy it or download it
For the C&C, I'll skip the photos comment. I believe the photos still have much more you can improve on...do more wedding shot and everytime u will learn something new. A quick tips is convert some of the too COLOURFUL photos (auntie shirts+ uncle shirts + chairs + background multi colour) into Black and white. Less distraction hehe.
For the Video, here is what I like to comment. This is base on personal experience & preferences so feel free to take it or not
1. Funky Transition with "love" & "star" shape or other random transition is a No No.. no offense but i think they are ugly.. at least not for wedding. I will stick to the basic slow fade in & out transition only. 2. Always give your photos a bit of movement. Either slowly zoom in, zoom out, moving from left to right or bottom to top. It gives the audience the feeling they are really watching Video than static photo presentation in a meeting. It can distract the viewer from spotting defects in you photo, such as a pimple on the bride face. (good if ur photo is ordinary only. bad for if ur photo are beautiful at every pixel) 3. If you want to do a even more perfect slide, you can try matching the music with your photos..matching the Chorus of the song with the Climax of the photos (in this case maybe the bride & groom meet).. Think of it like a movie trailer sorry i just love watching movie trailer. 4. Personally I like to choose song/music which is less well known.. (not those songs hear from hits FM everyday), cause I think this will give audience a more Refreshing experience.
Anyway good job and it is a nice start. I do my first video using WMM also and when I look back the video, it is just way too terrible to even share it... u can view my oldest video in my Youtube acc.
Here are some photo slides I did. Hope give u an idea of my points above. Still a lot I want to improve on... currently Videography inspires me.. will like to try one day

All in HD.. So takes time to load.
1116 F2.8 + 50mm F1.4 for my 2 weeks europe trip.. restrict myself within that range.. the only downside is taking food photos become quite difficult..luckily there isnt much nice food in europe compare to Taiwan. cjilai~~ I think my girl friend will scream seeing your photos.. It feels like the cicak is on my LCD Creepy lwliam: Nice Yummy photos!! all taken using ur 24-70 F2.8? The last photo is the waitress? so Sweet (n yummy too)... but the quality of the primes are irresistible.. hahaha, I think I switch between my 1750 F2.8 and 50mmF1.4 almost 40times every single event/wedding I shoot.. End up most of my favorite photos come from the prime...maybe can put it this way:
- capturing Beauty comes from the primes - capturing Moment comes from the zoom If you can capture the Moment + beauty with the Primes = PERFECT! haha Agree. Good way to put into comparison Add me after you have Flickr. I register my cc with paypal.. then buy the flickr pro acc using the paypal... Mayb can directly with CC but I dont remember already.
thanks for the comments. i did this video in a rush and just randomly picked the effects.
will keep the tips in mind! thanks
p/s: i am not the official photographer. so i can't really get all the beautiful angles & positions. still need to let the official ones do their job

what is the cheapest prime lens from sony? is it 50mm f1.8 or 35mm f1.8?
im a nex 5 user..would like to know wat does this mean?
Available from mid-October, a firmware update adds fresh functionality to the NEX-5/NEX-3. Autofocus operation is now supported when using A-mount SAM and SSM lenses with the optional LA-EA1 Mount Adaptor. There’s also a new custom function that allows assignment to buttons of frequently-used functions, plus a new function to record movies with setup aperture.
thank you
this means that u can autofocus with A-mount lenses~
the 500mm's finishing is really nice~ wonder if its weather sealed for action and sports photography..
by the way..to those who used a33/a55...how long does it take for the EVF to switch on when you place your eye in the view finder? i read comments saying its about half a second?
