Yeah, that's what I meant by sump, since the filtration system has several compartments and pretty much does everything a sump does except its placed above the tank. Other than that, same thing I guess.

Price? Depends on size lah bro, got numerous sizes for tank and the filter compartments as well. Plus, if you want the media, etc included then I'm sure can get an all-in-price. But they're not expensive given their size but just don't look good (not the nicest looking things around).

Call Pang lah for quotes dude, I don't work there so I wouldn't know LOL  tongue.gif

nothing wrong with it...they are bottom dweller...fed on sinking pellet? rough gravel like river stone may give them uncomfortable to move around..small size sand may interrupt them during feeding...maybe few pieces of flat rocks will suit them well..anyway they are best keep in the bare tank,IMO.
*
yeah, i already did with both gravel and fine sand last year for my bichirs,, whether me or the fishes that're not uncomfortable with that, i not really sure. lol. since then i just keep them in bare tank, but look boring liao.

this is why some awesome predator fish will get ban by government
http://mynewshub.my/2012/07/13/piranha-serang-selatan-china/

Penduduk diminta buru Piranha
