planning to put any fish for my 6" gar as tank mate. prefer bichir, but i think i hard to find larger bichir at LFS. they are selling small bichir only.

used to have 3 arapaima with me. But after 10years one died, so left only 2 nw.

Throughout the years they changed colour, now both a bit red with somewhat gold colour scale.

My thumb got bitten by one of them the last time I tried to feed them chicken using my hand. gotta be more careful next time.

Hey guys, sad day.. My 2 year old silver is downstairs struggling to survive... Haizzz bloody pacus attacked him when he was weak after I took him out awhile to check something... Would've been swimming normally already if it weren't for the pacus... I'm gonna miss my 2 year old buddy so much

pacu taken out straight after i found the problem.. It's been over 8 hours my arowana still fighting. Amazing.. I believe it can survive just that I dunno why it can't balance itself underwater
