trackpad like a touchpad in laptop... much more accurate than touching the screen or D-pad...

QUOTE(Andrew Lim @ Nov 23 2010, 10:16 AM)
If depends on the situation and what's being displayed on the screen. If there's a button on the screen, it's much faster to just touch it rather than scroll to it with a D-pad or trackpad.

The only times I've found the trackpad on my Hero useful is when selecting text. But that doesn't happen and I can usually select text too by touching the screen except when the text is very small.

that's why I said "accurate"...

what setting to check? hmm.gif

i installed HTC sync before, and i used it to transfer files between my ipod and my PC. working fine before, but after i root, the HTC sync don't recognize my device anymore. when i connect the phone to PC, then i open HTC sync, it stated "no device connected".. ok i'll try to re-install HTC sync.
the hinge is not an issue (for me at least).. did u ever use other full qwerty device before? i used to hv nokia n97 and n900. those device hv tight hinge, produce snappy sound when u open the qwerty keyboard, which i'm afraid that one day the hinge will broke. as for DZ, i like the way the hinge is, easy and smooth to open. i think its not an engineering failure, but it was purposely designed that way.

u saw dummy set which was meant for display, no wonder la koyak and look ugly..haha

I m a ex-owner of n97... I felt N97 hinge is like perfect n never heard of any failure... n the display unit everywhere also nice...

now a milestone owner... no problem as well...
