Hi, i check my order status at dell website but it is weird. Do you guys experienced similar problem? What does it mean?

Supposely In Transit is after Arrived in Main Hub and why it shows repeatedly. One more thing i thought the dell factory is at penang why need cleared custom?

Never seen before.
Normally, after Ship from Factory (will receive a call from forwarding agent), there's Local Forwarder (Another call from local courier, set appmt).
That's it.

Are they shipping it out from this country? I have feeling that my laptop will arrived late. .Stated estimated is on 17 Sept

Mine stuck in main hub for 2 days... same eta... but i received today O_O

buying with dell =/= buying personally

Just called dell, they said my laptop is currently In Transit from Penang to KL and will deliver to me on Monday.

Looks like the web status is not reliable at all.

Is really not reliable especially the estimate delivery date..
just keep contact with your agent done..

yeah its not just not reliable.. its deceive/lie to you so you feel good. my laptop surely don't have to go through custom.

In my case they simply change the date and the delivery status to whatever they like. It changed everytime i check!!! before this no in-transit before arrival then suddenly got in-transit status.. before this date of that status is 12 sept then suddenly change to 14 sept.. yeah whatever they like to put it.

u let me saw it liau damn weird but as long ur receive ur laptop & ur warranty still valid & ur laptop works fine should be not a big deal..

ya is like that. almost same duration when i received mine. now check everything. within 7 days w/o working days take place, 1 on 1 exchange is valid.

But do they call you?

Last time i purchased from Dell, they did call me. This time like no sound one... weird...

they din call me. usually they call u sure got hal. lucky my lappy no hal. i changed heat-sink b4 cos i x satisfied then my temp r normal ady. depend who the person who quoted u. the gal is under sales team so i think she is bz. if u not satisfied u can write an email to the team manager.

Well, yesterday was 2pm reached my home. I hope later also around that time cause this morning no one at home, lol ...

But the box of my bag was so dented ... lucky inside only bag, no fragile thing...

mine was estimated to arrive a 15, but it arrive at 12 instead. i got an email and an SMS before the delivery.

Mine ETA was actually tomorrow but just now I checked again, it changed to 22nd about one hour ago without notify me also.

I hope tomorrow can get it, ugh...

Added on November 14, 2011, 10:49 amMake a call to Dell @ 10th Nov and said the laptop already arrived in Malaysia.

Check the order status, showing 5th Nov cleared custom and 9th Nov arrived in main hub.

Today @ 14th Nov call up again and the CS said the laptop was going to ship from China today.
Then I told her the situation on 10th and she said she will check again.

What a good customer service

Sometime reliable sometime not. It depends on how fast the worker do the job.

If u wan pre set then buy from local store.. u wan customize prepare for 2 weeks waiting time...

Like alienware minimum 2 weeks

Last time my father ordered Dell Vostro from Online.
Delivery is OK. My father ordered for my sister who is currently studying in Ipoh.
After reaching iPoh then suddenly the laptop screen flickering and turn black.
Called the service and 1 technician helped to repair.
The first time, the technician came and repair. Repaired and fixed.
The next day, happen again, called the technician and repair and changed the motherboard. No problem with that.
The technician came to my house and repair. No need to go there to send.
