i bought the rm808 wan.. n thanks to d information given by d users from tis forum..

Anyway.. i read a lot of d method of how to root n change rom from tis forum..
but sometimes still.. kind of blur blur.. bcoz total newB.. 

I watched a lot of videos n i wan 2 ask everyone can i use tis methods (i juz figure myself) below..  tq..

1) i gonna root my phone using d 'z4root' app.. like how he did..

2) after root.. i gonna download d 'rom manager' app from d android market

3) i gonna backup my phone using d 'rom manager' app.. like how he did..

LOL... actually i wan a android phone so badly last year... HTC, samsung, nexus one...
all price like hell... all over rm1000 something... n tat time i hav no money... 
n until i saw LG Optimus One tis year... i stop crying...

lg optimus one is the best low end android phone out there ..

1) not locked bootloader / easy to root
2) OC to 800mhz with stable condition
3) 512mb ram
4) adreno 200 GPU (same as nexus one GPU)

y this phone can run stable on 800mhz clock ??
there another phone by samsung clock at 800mhz stock .. same proc

Hi am newbie with android and smartphone market. Looking for budget android for using skype to call overseas (skype to skype).
Has anyone here successfully installed and use skype voice calls with their LG optimus phone?
Am looking everywhere for a definite answer.. only reason i'm getting it is to use the skype on it. don't want to buy and then later find out can't install. cos some of my friends also having problems installing it on their androids. not sure what model or version la.

any one tried skype with their LG out there?

i OCed it to 748 (more stable than 768 - keep on crashing, somehow). didnt dare to push it up to 800, at least for now... anyone?

u run 748MHz all the while or did u set lower MHz during idle?
how's the battery usage?

This is also Kepong shop, but selling at RM813, maybe you can haggle?  hehe.  Free screen protector, pouch, car charger, car holder.  Best deal I've found.
