Getting one uni of? D7k or SB700 ? If wanan get a better flash, wat do you think? SB700 or SB900 straight? I not doing events or wedding yet..... for long run SB900 better?

Haaizz... tat 1 mayb 2 years time gua, FF ler.... can afford da body no use!! Cannot afford da lens, haha..... den buy 4 wat?? Wait till I'm at ur level 1st la, juz start working not even 6 month, next time at least a 70-200 n 24-70 in hand, den I can consider up FF =p

Hey, wat u think btw D7000 and D300s, both juz few hundreds in diff n diff class, but 1 is new sensor tech, another is superb focusing system.... any comments? Hard 2 judge by my own

Focusing speed not something to do with the focus motor driving it? I thought D300s has a much bigger motor hence faster focus. I know D7000 has new 2056RGB sensor improve auto focus, but I thought it will just affect the processing speed and accuracy. I asked b4, the 50mm F1.4G do focus faster on higher end body, then I know even with SWM, body still makes a diff.

Ooo.... then tat's a good news for me, hope D7000 focusing mechanism doesnt disappoint us, then it's worth investing in newer technology then

Do you guys think in 2 years time, the D7000 body price will drop to around 2.5k (juz for my info)? Or D7000 is a diff class with D90, sry I've no idea how much is D90's body when it was launched in 2008. No doubt after 2 years, it's still a very good cam till now...

How much was D90 body when it was launch 2 years ago? but it's pretty reasonable if it was around 3.5k and drop to 2.5k throughout 2 years la..... hope I can gain experience and capture superb pictures to cover back the depreciate value, haha....

From the pixel peeper comparison of Dpreview, y the Canon 60D seems to have better noise control than the D7000? Even the D300s is bettter? haaizz.... or this kinda review is not accurate

Really sucks ler..... it disappoint me so much if it's really accurate test!! Haaiz.... I thought the newer sensor with much better iso control is the point for me to get the D7000 over the D300s, but seem really disappointing!!

Ya worr..... my mind was telling me don't believe these reviews.... as D7000 should out performs all, somewhere FX level of noise control.

I rmb I saw photos taken D3100 new sensor was superbly sharp at even iso1600, so I think D7000 would b a beast =.=

I also think so.... that day played with D7000 indoor at KLPF, really vomit blood at iso200

Da shot in Japanese forum really quite good eh, hahaaa.... even the night shot at iso1600 looks good to me

That's kit lens price la.... Body is around 3.8-3.9k =)

Made my decision at last after testing out again at BTS vs D300s, it's there for ur torture!! Chosen this for the weight n size

All improvement on the D7000 is really impressive especially the autofocus speed!! There is one thing make me really sad..... the images turns out to be very soft even at iso200, till now I still dunno why!! compared to my previous D5k, at iso 200, u can see the razor sharp image when u zoom in 100% to see the person's eyes! but with D7k, the face like being photoshop with gaussian blur!!

Any pro here tested out mind to share, so sad for this point, haaiz....

I used the same lens for both, 35mm 1.8, it's quite obvious the D7k not so sharp after looking it at comp monitor, anyway haven fully tested yet.

Really ka?? So sharp? I can see very obvious difference between D7000 and D5000 when taking portraits eh, the face tends to be very soft, I suspect out of focus, I should go back Nikon to calibrate it? How to do it?

I shooting at F2.8, still very soft.... not close to sharp at all, I don feel exited n happy after getting this coz not as sharp as old D5000 at iso200, my gf oso can see very soft I suspect wat pengster said might be right, calibration prob?

Added on November 15, 2010, 9:44 amI bought at 3.9 k, initially I was told 3.8k, but the boss of my fren's shop insisted to sell at least of RM100 margin to me coz very limited stock now..... All shop have +/- 3 units only, my fren told me to wait, but they dunno when is the next shipment, might be few weeks to 1 month, scared of ending up no body for christmass, haha..... So if u guys can find cheaper than 3.9k, pls grab it while u can......
