it's basically the maxxed out version of the default one... with an added liquid cooling system and the nice looking fins on the top~

But there are some ALX with not maxxed out configurations? even the normal area 51 has liquid cooling too and the fins right? is the ALX aluminium? tts why its more expensive?

nop~ it's just the special fin thingy... think of it like comparing a skinny person with a beefed up muscular guy~

ALX is the usual name for alienware desktop iinm.

Area 51 is predecessor of All Powerful Series as u can see now.

So no one tried 3d gaming before with the above setup?

If your BIOS version is A08 as your laptop is newly purchased, then you do not have to flash it.

Gently tap the speedometer button above the top right of the keyboard, until it becomes dim.

Go into the BIOS and see? I'm sure they would have display the version number at the top or in the info page

Hmm, not that hard to configure it. Just install and enable OSD under settings. You can configure the OSD color,position, etc thru riva tuner(MSI afterburner OSD server).

i dunno this is slowpoke or not...but i just found out they have alienware theme for windows 7 already :lo: its on dell website
