For PS2 and the likes, non progressive display is fine. As for me, i personally feel that the improvement introduced by higher resolutions (HD) as compared to progressive gaming isn't as significant.

I say relatively. Not ultimately. Even when it's HD, if it's interlaced, it doesn't do any good. Wordings are static, in this case, interlaced video is enough. The quality is entirely dictated by the amount of scan lines available. During actual game play with high fps, the scenario is reversed. Whereby progressive images can significantly reduce motion blur.

I am thinking of getting a Logitech Z5500 Speaker but the price is RM1599. For that price should i go for a home theater system? Thinking of connecting it to my precious PS2 & 3

The z5500 has only 1 optical input right? That's gonna limit u. Why not get the Creative DDTS-100 and Gigaworks 750 or 700 (can't remember the exact model) and u have the best of both worlds..sure its more expensive but why buy something u regret later? tongue.gif
