bro prae. R u goin for blx? i got one, emm.. for me, 90% same like k-factor. only diff is muted feel and lighter swing weight.

i played with damper but muted feel is like no feel. took out damper can feel the same old vibration and 'dong dong' noise which i dont like...

light swing is nice...

ur comment?

I THINK I may like it when I am older now still 40 still can hit quite ok lah, but when I hit 50 I think I better use more arm friendly racket like the BLX I already have a BLX 6.1 tour that is hanging on my wall, for now I am extremely happy with the K6.1 tour at 45lbs.

BLX for me is too muted, I like the raw, crisp feeling of the K6.1 tour better.

Why are tennis racquets so expensive in Aust??!

Does anyone know the price back in KL for a Wilson nCode 2 (old orange one)??
*
Was just browsing the threads and I read this.

The orange nCode 2? Do you mean the nTour 2? Cos if it is, I saw a couple in a shop going for Rm150 each. But on the handle (which is plactic wrapped), it states cosmetic sample.

For that low a tension I can play without dampener, as a dampener only eliminates the high frequency 'pinging' and thats it, it doesn't really reduce vibration to the arm thats my opinion anyway, other people may have a different opinion on it, though.

absolutely right, the damper just silent the frequency... is all bout feeling of the player... in my case, i dont like noise but love the hitting feel. BLX kinda too quiet.... could not feel the 'uhm' when hitting the exact sweetspot....

as per ur experience and age, i m guessing u play tennis more thn 20yrs?

Bro if you bought a good racket, use it, hopefully you can extract all the good benefits while playing with it, it should increase the rate of your progress, if you have any questions, feel free to post here, I am sure someone here will be glad to help, take care.

New models for existing series right, ie still BLX line, only racket I know that is supposed to come out for BLX series is the 'K-Blade' team/tour/lite, saw that the racket paint job is not that nice, but am not 100% sure if that is the finalised paint job.

With an advance teaching methods and modified teaching equipments and balls specially created for beginners and kids, beginners will be able to play with whatever racquet they got, so no worries bro. (Play and Stay)

Bro prae is right, since already bought it then might as well just use it unless money is not a problem for you then you can get something that will assist you on court. you can pm bro prae or post it up here......all of us are willing to share, but still if you can, it will be faster if you get a good coach to teach you one on one.......

In LYN, there are alot in here whom are ex state players, certified coaches, some not yet but very very experience in teaching, some are good with racquet spec, some are good with racquet designs, some are very good racquet caretaker, some are importer of tennis goods and equipments.

So the only thing u need to do is just ASK:)
