Sorry CK I am not that well versed in the other versions of the Graphite Pro, I only remember that this racket came out with the Prince Boron the MOST expensive racket I have ever seen, this was in Singapore and it retailed at a whopping SGD890.00 at Lai Sports.........

Added on December 29, 2010, 11:15 amPrae,

i dont think i'll get a kfactor la.. nowadays dont really like wilson paintjobs edi.. and their QC is kinda bad.. the prostaffs are really something worth keeping..

:-( I am just saying may be in the future, your skills kick up a notch,(very high chance, longer you play more consistent and fitter you will get..) irregardless of what frame you are using, pick up a Pro Staff since you have 1, (in the future more , KIPAS X100) then evaluate your stroke, naturally you need to give the stick a chance, say 2 weeks.....unless you 'click' with the racket lah..... then from Pro Staff jump to a kfactor.....

Why do I stick with the k6.1 tour....its because you can easily customize it CLOSE to the specification of a Pro's stick...and the most important thing, (for me anyway) is its MASS distribution its very close to the Pro Staff's if you can't find a St Vincent , this is close to the next best thing. KPS 88 plays more closely to the St Vincent Pro Staff, but the Mass distribution is off by quite alot.

kev, let me kipas u even worse.....

wilson: 6.0 undisputed greatest stick of all time (doesnt matter is st.vincent, chicago, taiwan or china).  The only stick last for more than 2 decades.  Nowadays, after 3 yrs already sell like pasar malam price.

prince: graphite ori and long body by cousin chang.... chang changed to long body went to record world no.2. Unfortunately, lost in 3 GS finals to sampras US, Becker OZ, RG Muster.  If he won the US vs sampras, he would go to 1 ever.... sigh........

Head: the 90s was the golden era, ranges r represented by: Radical Agassi (Black Yellow), Pro by Muster (Black Blue), Prestige Goran (Black Red)....

Most rackets above r selling more than any current range in ebay.  They r not only collectors item but still hit extremely well.... Looking at the bumblebee u have.....

But bro, dont u already have 2 of above???!!! Hehehe

The quality ,playability of rackets then , are much more better than most of the rackets with *ahem* newer technology.

whistling.gif

btw I just saw the video, was that vobs that screwed up the high backhand angle drop shop volley....I think I saw a APDGT.....who was playing may I ask?

Thats why when you hear comments like what Gustavo Kuerten who won the French Open and admittedly credits Luxilon strings. to his French Open success.....and Agassi who 'demoed' poly strings for the first time, said something along the lines"You have to either make sure everyone plays with this string, or outlaw it entirely..."

IF Sampras/Agassi/Lendl/Becker/Edberg/ in their days when they were Pro had access to Poly strings, I guarantee they would have more majors and titles, depends on who, which era they were playing.

STRINGS make a difference....THEY are the things that in contact with the tennis ball.....thats why alot of people forget, they tend to blame the racket 99.99% of the time......

If you ask all the pro's to use all natural gut or synthetic gut to play their spin shots would land OUT and power level's will drop as well......its because of POLY.....

Sampras using a Babolat with poly, his serve alone, serve wise only ,would decimate the Top 20-50, Goran some thing......even John McEnroe at his age, his serve is still incredible.....

Now the problem is pro's these days are more dependent on equipment and technology, give Nadal a wooden racket ask him to play McEnroe also on a wooden racket, my guess it could be quite close, with Nadal's fitness a deciding factor....

I am assuming 55/60 vs 50/55 is one racket 55lbs on main then 60lbs on cross's, the other racket is 50lbs main and 55 on cross's.....
if so your cross's are actually contributing to the more 'crispness' on the feeling since they are holding the mains in place, if you string your lower tension racket from 50/55 to a all round 52-54lbs range full stringbed , I think you should notice more even play, feel, however this my opinion you may form your own conclusions....

Kev hahahaha welcome to the world of Pro Staff's! :-D
Continue to use this stick for at least 2 months......once you biasa, THEN jump to a K6.1 tour, naturally try and use the same string as on the Pro Staff, see if can get the message I am trying to convey :-p

wah I like your New Years Resolution!!! :-p
If can take video even better :-p

My New Years Resolution is learning when to pull the trigger at the right time, sometimes, I pull too fast and my unforce errors start to mount up, then sometimes I think I should just rally 20-30 balls, and which in the long term kills me as I have a 4 month old stomach......so these things cost me x-p.

What are your New Years Resolution tennis-wise?
