Just wondering... Anyone with local version of Motorola Defy successful use the 3G Mobile Hotspot?

me too no problem on celcom.

Added on January 21, 2011, 11:13 pmsome recommendation:

if you like racing game try this => dead runner (running around graveyard at breakneck speed is more addictive than any racing game lolz)
if you have big fingers and would like a bigger button keyboard, try this => thumb keyboard

Nope, no such problem for me. Do check your screen lock setting (settings > Location & security settings). Maybe some tweaking needs to be done there. rclxms.gif

Jboogie froyo rom deleted 3g hotspot sad.gif Using wifi tethering instead

Welcome aboard Aishiteru^Suki! Don't forget to say farewell to fellow xt buddies tongue.gif

Added on January 22, 2011, 10:52 amFor those that modded your defy with custom froyo rom and want to set apn automatically, here's the master apn file. Just use root explorer and replace it in /system/etc folder. Then go to apn setting and press default setting. Done

setting, about phone, then check the build number.

i didn't update to 2.2 just try root the system so that i can test on something.

i'll recommend you play with your phone for few more days before decide to root or update smile.gif
