I also bought defy last sunday (malaysia set)
still a lot to learn and to get familiar as this is my 1st touch screen phone (migrated from nokia E52)

I use my nokia E52 standard charger to charge because the original one too tight to fit into wall socket.

As for using it during shower, nope. Never tried. But during berak session always bring in.

Could be slowpoke.
The working superoneclickroot for 2.51 already out at xda. The 2.2 china rom also worked with camera
But I don't test it yet

Yes. I think that one is easier. Just need to when to check / uncheck debugging mode.

Just rooted my defy using superoneclickfor2.1 but still in stock rom.
ATM cannot access Market, Gmail & Facebook with msg "A network error has occurred". Browser is OK.
Can anyone point me the workaround for this error.

Now everything backed to normal.
Going to flash 2.2 tonite.
This is like no turning back as I cannot unroot it anymore. Am I right?

Just make sure the motohelper icon appear on the taskbar.
If not reinstall the motohelper usb driver.

Just flash the UK froyo version.
Camera and flash worked out of the box.
Rootable with superoneclick
Only no vibrate when pressing softkeys

But the sbf file for 2.51 firmware that available in and-developers is GB version not SEA.
Is that really matter to service centre if the phone does not show SEA version?

I'm using stock rom froyo orange deblur 3.4.2-131
so far look ok, no restart and everything work OOTB.
