guys,im still quite blur bout this earpiece problem...how to detect whether our defy got problem with earpiece?can anybody explain the step or some action to check this problem??

When u cannot hear the other person talking from the other side but they can hear u...u have the infamous earpiece problem....brought to u specially from Motorola.

ok, luckily this one still ok till now, but i heard earpiece will break when we up the volume over half?is that true?that one im afraid to try..hahaha.btw im using SG set

I updated my firmware from 2.51 to 2.59 (Still Eclair 2.1 Update 1) last week. Only difference I noticed is a slight improvement on battery life. Other than that, I didn't detect much changes....

if u don't really border the flash support of internet browser, then u can still stay with Eclair and just root the phone

I am so tempted to do the surgery myself on my defy. Check the web that you can replace it with earpiece from Sony Ericsson K850i. Now the prob is where to find the earpiece....

Today when to Phoneworx to fix my earpiece....but the earpiece out of stock. Damm it...have to wait till next week. Call them yesterday that i am going today but never tell out of stock. They ask me to leave my phone there. Now way i am gonna do that. Waste my time drive all the way there.

I think I need to flash to a new rom lah. This Finland rom sometimes gives me connection problem. Driving to Penang can lose signal while my colleagues on maxis full bar
