abbygirl, great speed there! w00t! battery life? if damn good, then i think i also wanna use it la...my major concern is just battery life. i cannot have my phone dying on my while travelling in the middle of god-knows-where!!
noname89, wait what?? buy first, talk later! this phone is really one of the cheapest value for money phone.
blackwhitechipsKL >>>> Battery life havent really tested...but last night before i go to sleep...battery at 60%....this morning i wake up at 10....make a call, sent 2 sms, browse web for 20 mins now still got 40%. So i guess it's ok.
My quadrant score 1600++ is the highest i got. I do a few benchmark and consistently get 1550 above...which is good enough. I read that someone in XDA got score of 1800++ by OCed at 1200mhz
>>>> Tyenfei, at 800mhz i get score of quadrant of 1293.
>>>> noname89, i got this phone for free from a friend. Let me tell u this, my wife is using an iphone4, my sis is using a BB Torch, and 1 of my friend using HTC DHD....but compared the performance my phone is not inferior at all. Of cos the other phone have features like HD recording, face time etc. but i really do not need all those. In fact my wife like my defy more than her iphone4. Ya iphone is nice but it's still lacking the ability to use widgets or even any semblance of a real home screen to place them on. Widgets are so much fun than icons on your screen
Unless you have a lot of $$$ lying around to spend...you can get high end phones like DHD, Galaxy S, Desire Z .... but for the best bang on bucks is still Defy. Can those drop on the road fill with water when it's raining and survive? I dont think so. Or u can wait for the new Motorola Atrix...which will be next on my wanted list!
