yeah my stock sbf is 2.51.

tried restoring jboogie's nandroid and flash the 2.2 boot only flash. the phone got stuck in the M logo.

after that tried another method and flashed the 2.2.1 china stock fw first and the phone didn't even respond after that. black screen, power on, bootloader, recovery all no respond but luckily rsd lite detects it and managed to flash back to the stock UK rom and restored my nandroid backup.

any idea what i did wrong?

no idea, but after you submerge it in water you have to hit the phone to get the water out of the earpiece else when you receive a call, you can barely hear the other end!
the china version is the link provided in the first post there. Full .sbf flash. after the flash, my phone refused to boot even into recovery or bootloader mode but thankfully rsd lite still detects it.

and btw, my stupid friend managed to scratch my phone screen smack in the middle by scratching my phone along the edge of a CEMENT CHAIR!! Bloody hell already told the fella it'll scratch and in the end it did! #@!%@#@ and idea how to remove scratch from gorilla glass? Or should i send it to a watch shop?

i can't feel it with my fingers but its pretty damn obvious if the screen is off and it can be seen if the background is dark. and if i run my fingernails over it i can feel it very obviously.

yeap theres a tiny gap between the battery and the back cover. Its normal. If you want to get rid of it you can put a piece of paper between the cover and the battery but i'd advice against from doing so as it may compromise the water seal

I believe there are no more official motorola service center like moto service one, it seems that motorola appointed some phone service center to be their authorized repair place like the one in sunway mentari where my phone is currently being fixed. Moto phone sales in malaysia are not as good as nokia and sony ericsson, perhaps that's the reason they closed the place and outsourced it to third party. Hopefully the technicians can do their job properly.
