What is this Marketaccess? Can you share the link here?

It seems I can't see quite a few apps posted on XDA forum.

I notice Angry birds season(Christmas) is a bit laggy even after overclock. Maybe because of the snow effect.

About getting an otterbox, in my opinion better not since I got one. The top is a bit loose plus the whole phone becomes pretty huge and fat !!

You might not like the size afterward.

It is quite slim without the case, I would say that the size is just right.

If you want to have a look I can bring it tomorrow but you will have to come to Jalan Raja Laut near PWTC.

actually defy felt rather slim for my hand. =p

anyhow is any1 in kl using it at the moment? i dont mind do some traveling to see how it feels before i make the order.

158 Jalan Raja Laut, right beside BSN, look for an old shop call Eastern Records. The same row as KFC.
Quite close to THE MALL.

There is a way but it is tedious, if you look at the earlier pages I have posted it there. There is an easier way though, put a screen protector over it.... that is what I did when I scratched my defy screen.

this is the type of idiot who would never pay. he said 'aiyahh nevermind la it will smoothen out after awhile' doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

f*** man seriously. Just went visit a couple of watch shops, all refused to take in my phone and hardware stores all don't sell glass scratch remover.

you're using which keyboard? should be under keyboard settings you can disable the vibration during keypress.

So sorry about this, it was quite some time ago and I forgot. I PM it to someone actually.

Here is the link.

Yeah, sending back cost about RM 140 if using Poslaju so this is the better way. Clove is not going to charge you for the delivery when they send it back here right?

QUOTE(sanosizo @ Feb 10 2011, 01:02 PM)
thats what happen when u have third party repair shop as authorized service center. repair speaker already costs 1/5 of the phone price. i prefer paying rm100 sending back the phone to uk tho...

Poslaju uses TNT for their international postage. That is what I was told. So far my company has been using them to send to Japan, Germany and so on without problems.

Anyway I am not promoting, just saying they seem to have improved quite a bit.

I think you can write to Clove to see whether they will replace it instead of repairing it. Anyway I think UK people will have a certain standard when repairing...

QUOTE(sanosizo @ Feb 11 2011, 10:26 AM)
im using the courier service that my company use which is asiaxpress, total shipping cost to uk is rm140. i feel safer using this service rather than poslaju.

Drop my Defy from hip level to concrete floor. The screen does not crack.

QUOTE(Borsch Soup @ Feb 11 2011, 05:33 PM)
Hi, anyone has tried to drop their Defy on the floor, does the LCD screen break? Really tough or not?

Yeah, I read that Motorola dropped the IP67 rating somehow but was too late since most website states that the defy does IP67.

I am not saying it is not IP67 but I will say it is close and if you go all out to test it it might not perform as well as stated.

QUOTE(DoubleU @ Feb 12 2011, 11:09 AM)
but the IP67 isn't endorsed by moto no? better not try 1 meter unless really necessary...

True, never thought about the responsibility part.

QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Feb 12 2011, 11:24 AM)
Its IP67 certified but moto dropped the rating coz they don't want to be responsible in case anything happens.

I will say don't wipe the sand, use a blower or use water to remove the sand from the screen.

Anyway, how's your Defy repair going?

QUOTE(sanosizo @ Feb 22 2011, 10:14 AM)
stay away from UK set for this moment, most of them have the dreaded earpiece problem.

to be safe, get defy either from local or singapore set. i havent heard any case of fail earpiece from those 2 sets yet.

i have been using phones for quite some time and never use a screen protector. even tho defy is a tough phone, take a good care of it as a normal phone. sand is no problem, just wipe it off the screen.
