If we are talking about Google Navigation it actually has turn by turn voice guidance but Malaysia so far is not supported.
Not sure whether it will be supported in the future. |

I think 2.34 is quite ok at the moment if you can flash to it since it has less motoblur stuff.
BTW Sanosizo, how's your repair coming along? |

Hi Greenday,
I just use file manager app instead of the quick office app. After you root there is an app to delete app but I have not reach that state to actually give you a guide. I am sure XDA defy forum will have the answer. You need to unroot I guess and flash it back to the default sbf if you want to claim warranty. I am using Z4root so it has the function to unroot, not sure about you though. QUOTE(greenday @ Jan 13 2011, 11:45 AM) |

Greenday,
When you mentioned firmware are you talking about sbf? you can check out this page http://www.and-developers.com/sbf:defy I think if your sbf is 2.51, there is a method to root it already, just have to find a way to unroot, correct me if I am wrong though. |

Mine do not have the blue dot of BP above the made in china sentence as well.
Can anyone confirm there's have this? Some info on the earpiece issue from xda. "I spoke with a Tmo (USA) rep and they asked me to pull the battery and look at the small sticker towards the top of the compartment. They were looking for either a blue dot or “BP” in the text above “made in China”. It seems that if your phone has either of these, you are in the clear..." Anyone can confirm local / Maxis set have that? This post has been edited by jiangchen: Jan 13 2011, 05:18 PM |

Saw someone showing that as well somewhere in other forums. An alternative way for broken Defy.
Do you plan to get it fixed before CNY? QUOTE(sanosizo @ Jan 17 2011, 11:43 AM) actually there is another (weird) way of using the phone for taking calls, if u see at the back there is another microphone that is used for noise cancelling purposes. right now i'm using the back speaker (lowest volume) to hear the callers and the 2nd mic to speak with them. it really raised some people eyebrows when i did that |
