I've had Unifi for a month now, and my electricity bill has just came in. I noticed there is an increase in my electricity bill from normal. Is this because we have to leave the black huwei box on all the time?

Does anyone noticed any increase in electricity bill after installing Unifi?

we dont have to turn it on all the time. u can choose to on it when u need it. but if u p2p/download whole day long then no choice lah. my power consumption is as usual, even if got increase, also abit oni.

It's down here in Sunway. Anyone with the same issue?

Just want to ask those that are using unifi,

how is the international gaming experiance?is it better(lower latency+stable) to US/Europe/Singgapore game server? or same with streamyx?

dota with europe. smooth

average 300kbs..if i not downloading anything else..can reach about 450kbs+

Wolfteam with korea server , acceptable , sometimes lag due to the ping. but for Malaysia or singapore. just fine

same. call of duty 4 at russian server also smooth.

when using streamyx was it bad?

when unifi, gg lah.

i play sc2 to US region, no issue unless some downloaders lagging everyone else. But that has nothing to do with my own connection

mine capped at 250KB/sec never ever exceed 250. my p2p 2000++KB/sec, so no problem wit my line. is just megaupload
what package u use? vip?

vip20. pricey. but no point getting vip20 adi, i heard that p2p going illegal.
vip5 will do, cheap and good

they cant ban p2p one, alot of legal companys using p2p to save money .

installation rm200. my house no need cable concealment so idk. and i use vip20. free installation.

The p2p thing is if you download ilegal things, if u download like anime which is fan subs/tv series/online games/etc that not ilegal,

by concealment u mean those digging stuff?

i think not, if not wrong its concealing the fiber cables or soemthing

then should be all included in the rm200. unless u use more then the provided 15m of fiber. then they will charge u rm50 per meter.
