i only play 2 days at open beta, shadow is off coz running on 1080p. the rest is on high and highest. game is pretty smooth for me and hardly crash maybe 1 times after very long hour. i even left it on while i sleep and game is still on when i wake. the ssd has some amazing load speed, i dunno if it same as for people who install in sata but the loading is fast for me. for people who used ssd i think won't look back at sata, this is what i felt so far. ssd is like the next-gen storage for pc users. price is still very steeps especially for samsung brand. the one i bought online is around rm1.5k

can't really judge on the open beta, have to wait on the retail only to see how all the stuff perform.

I understand your problem and can relate to the issue of the fair-usage policy being broken. However I'm afraid to say the final version of the game will be using a peer-to-peer system identical to the one in the Beta. The main game will ship on a disc so it won't be necessary to download the initial 22GB (approx.) client. That said, patches which could be large will be distributed this way so although they will be smaller and less frequent they may still take you over the fair-usage limit. I'm sorry about this and there are no plans to allow users to adjust their upload and download rates but we have made our head-office aware that this is causing problems for people and may be fixed in future.

Again I hope you aren't too put off by this and I hope the patches will be small enough and infrequent enough not to break your limit.

Warm Regards,

i'm holding the FFXIV retail client, and after install it is 9GB.. and from the people who already got the game http://www.ffxivcore.com/topic/18676-pics-...nt-information/ also said 9GB. torrent client size is 4.67GB

please enlighten me.. where to find the rest of 13GB thx.

the 22GB is an estimate space they needed for future expansion and patch download.

No, you can install it in any drives but the patch/documents will stay in C:/User by default i think.
