Understadn this boot sequence

Tricolor color >  HSPL > MAGLDR > Recovery (Clockwork Recovery/ CWR) > load Android Nand or SD

U must have MAGLDR installed before flashing CWR because only MAGLDR menu allows CWR flashing (via USB)
check out his site,

Thanks for the info, I manage to get it to work. smile.gif

Wow, cool. I'll test then.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Alternatively, you can use HD2 Toolkit to repartition.

NOTE: The below steps are for STEP 3 (as per you pasted) only.
Just download and install the software on your PC as usual.
Open it, and click on the partition size and cache partition you would like to resize.
After that, connect your phone to PC. Hold "power" button and it'll enter MAGLDR menu. Go to 5. USB Flasher.
Then click Repartition button on your HD2 Toolkit. Follow instructions.

Your steps are a lot more easier, I definitely give it a try when flashing a new rom. Thanks.

You can use the HD2 Toolkit to flash your HSPL (Radio), Task29 (Wipe all), install MAGLDR or cLK & repartition.
It's very easy and convenient.

Previously, when it was version 1.1, I tested it before.
In order to use A2SD, you need to flash a few scripts before proceeding. Yes, it supports ext.

Did you enable A2SD by installing those stated scripts?

I never tried other kernels before. I always use default kernel.
I understood that we need to modify our config file before we flash DORIMANX kernel. Things are a bit complicated here, so I still maintain my default kernel.

yalo...dont know y my phone dont like the new kernel from dorimanx. the facebook apps always want to hang even in hyperdroid rom.

at the moment still running ICS from tytung. if really want to compare to hyperdroid, i would say it still need a lot of improvement. it still a bit laggy. but so far didnt encounter any issue on my daily use.

after day of use ICS, finally i rollback to hyperdroid 5.9
reason:
1. too laggy
2. wake up lag
3. face 1 time phone dont want wake up at all

If you like customisation, go for HD2. Be warned! HD2 is getting harder to find because the phone is no longer in production. So in future, you may face spare parts problem.

HD2 screen size and speed is faster than X10. If you prefer ready-made Android device, go for X10.

hi guys, i think i need some help here.

My HD2 uses MIUI, and yesterday i cant open messaging,(keep force restart), wifi detect network, shows connected to network but cannot browse internet.

Im planning to remove the current android os to other android version, but after reading a lot of tutorial, i seems to get lost! the only thing i learn so far is to enter the tricolor screen and thats it.

I believe my phone had been installed the HardSPL considering the MIUI os (bought the phone 2md hand) already pre installed by previous owner. so whats next? I really hope some help here considering my head already pening reading a lot of tutorial already...

Thank you

Download this toolkit here.
Install and run the software.

Download/Choose your favourite ROM here and transfer to your microSD card. After transfer, insert it in your phone. (Make sure your phone is in off mode, then only remove or insert to ensure 100% safe and no data lost.)

*NOTE: Make sure you download MAGLDR ROM, not cLK. This is important!

Off your phone if it's on. When it's off, hold your VOLUME DOWN button and POWER button at the same time.
After that, perform Task29. Follow instructions. Note your phone will appear a HTC logo and percentage.

Next, again, hold VOLUME DOWN button and POWER button.
Click install MAGLDR. Follow instructions. Same thing, note your phone will appear a HTC logo and percentage.

Then, choose partition layout. Go for 175MB and 5MB cache size, for safety reason. Click Repartition.
On your phone, go to 5. AD Flash. It'll flash your layout automatically. Your phone will restart.

Once your phone is restart with green HTC logo and white background, hold POWER button only. You'll enter MAGLDR menu. Use your VOLUME button to navigate up and down. Go to 8. AD Recovery. Then go to "install zip from sd card". Select the ROM that you downloaded and transferred to microSD just now.

After installing, use back button and reboot device.
Install and enjoy!

thank you for your reply. ok i have problem. i had already install the HD2 ANdroid NAND Toolkit, and done downloading my preferred ROM (NexusHD2-ICS-CM9_V1.4).

ive tansferred the ROM into my micro SD card, (formatted the card before). and after that ive push the Volume Down+Power button. It only result in TriColor screen, stated " PB81100 HX-BC SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE CotullaHSPL " and the white portion of the screen only written 'serial' only.no task29. how ar?

Sorry for my mistake and overlook. Task29 is in HD2 Toolkit.
Plug in your USB cable from your phone to your PC. Then the Serial mode will change to USB.
(NOTE: If it doesn't change to USB, you need Microsoft ActiveSync (for WinXP) or Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center (for WinVista & Win7)).

Any way is ok, doesn't matter. Be warned, it's safer to take out your microSD when your phone is OFF to prevent data corruption.
Otherwise, you'll need to unmount SD card in Android.
