Discovered that my HD2 actually have 2 years warranty (Check through online with sis), and thank god for that . Packed in a stock 6.5 and quickly sent it to sis today to claim warranty for the defective end button sensor. Luckily i tak repair lagi on my own.

You might want to check out your warranty as well at their online registration...Who knows...the warranty still hidup

Hmm, I like the GO Launcher EX' menu style. That's all.
And I use GO Keyboard too, because native keyboard doesn't support Chinese.

GO Score is for me to watch soccer's live score. Good app.

Problem is I see lesser and lesser updates from developers in HD2.

Almost all those active threads are gone.
langthang is MIA. tyween's TyphooN has stopped too. tytung has no more updates on his project.

so far it doesnt benefit HD'2s so far =.=
(sorry, was talking about the adreno 200 drivers)

i think most ROM's are stable
and ICS is slow on our dated hardware

this ROM is really awesome for battery, definitely can last 1 full day without problems

Yup, it's amazing. That's why I prefer this than stock MIUI Launcher, which doesn't arrange app alphabetically.

anyone having exp hang/freeze issues when using wifi?

im currently using MIUI rom stable v5 (langthang)

it occur only when im using dolphin browser and FB apps, if using other apps such as foursquare, opera browser the freeze issues not happen...

but this freeze are interminttent.. sometimes happen. sometime ok.
if im using 3G sim.. that freeze never happen.

dying CPU... i had that problem before...

but it could also be ROM, or overclock effect, or bad kernel

damn..i oredi completely reformat the sdcard.. still have this problem when trying to install zip from sdcard..basically what google say is bad format..

langthang's NDT ROM is quite problematic. Try original MIUI ROM from miuiandroid.com.

Use your HD2 to format your SD card.
Second, double check your ROM, and see whether you can open the .zip file.

Just got back my hd2 from sis a couple of days back. Luckily still under warranty as they replaced the whole screen, motherboard and flex cable. Looks like my nand bad blocks have been cured for free My imei also changed to a new number as a result .

On another note, i had the feeling that the hd2 users have mostly upgraded their phones to better specced models. Hence, the lack of new roms releases or updates in these few weeks. It's a sad thing to see our hd2 being slowly bypassed even by the regular rom cookers. Looks like we're stuck with gingerbread until we chage up to another phone.

After self-exile from CM ROM for a while, I've finally back to CM7 ROM.
MIUI gave me too much problem such as Calendar FC, etc. Got fed up with it and went back to CM7.

Ya, just noticed that tyween just came back and updated his/her TyphooN CM7 ROM.
Nothing new, a bit of fixes only.

Anyway, Nokia N9 NITDROID project looks promising and can be considered as alternative replacement for our old HD2.
Everyday, there're bugs being fixed.

If that happens, I guess you got to buy a new or better phone.

hi i'm new here...last night first time i try to flash new rom in my hd2...i have have flash all the spl magldr.but i stuck when i want to flash my rom...
in magldr boot screen i can't choose boot ad sd...when i press call button nothing happen...from what i read it suppose to enter the clockworkmod but in my case nothing happen.my reading source is miui web http://en.miui.com/a-55.html and little bit from xda http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477

haha...its quite hard to find a really good rom..theres always some loopholes in it..

i notices my battery drain like hell...but not hot..no idea, maybe rom running too many things.
