Actually HD2 is fully capable 720p in WP7 rom, but lacking of camera driver support in Android. 720p is good bonus for Android anyway

Boy96
u still with MDJ thing ? as ashburn mention, use titanium backup for major backup, or backup only necessary info like your sms (with Go SMS), contact (Go contact) and APN (APN backup restore) ,

the rest program better by start from scratch to avoid conflict FC (force closed)

Cucur
U can running it from winmo, there one rom called cherry pie base from huawei rom, look into xdadev sub forum.

Brucess
Badai explaination is right, nand is part where u install main rom. But due HD2 internal rom limitation, data2ext is required for system cache. This file was located in ext2/3 partition in your sdcard.

Eg Internal rom 512mb, actual desired hd rom is more than size of your rom, but our cookers managed to squeze it by extending partition to ext2/3 partition. Most Desire HD rom needed this method.
If u wanna try a full nand experiece u might try dandiest desire dl.... but you will have storage low.

Any DHD rom using ext2/ext3 slightly power consume, the only 'battery save' is when u put the whole rom in nand.

As for me my Nand is 1GB so Iv no problem for that tongue.gif far CMYLXGO DHD& Imilka DHD builds,

welcome to the club andy!

There are 3 method to running Android,
1-runnning from winmo via HARET launcher (aka SD haret), safe method

2-running directly to Nand via MAGLDR
3-running directly from MicroSD via MAGLDR

I suggesting to understand the risk of flashing before proceed. For best start I suggest to test with Jaguaralani MIUI or Copewarren Cynogen build. Refer my signature links (XDA)

QUOTE(babybaby1988 @ Jul 6 2011, 08:57 PM)
Hi. I need to change brightness as well as switch off 3g the fastest way.

Currently to do both, i need to undergo at least 3steps. I want to do it in just one step.

I'm thinking of an app which can detect surrounding brightness and adjust screen brightness accordingly.

For 3g. When I'm using winmo previously I can switch wifi 3g off or on by long press on the sound rocker. I don't like widget as I have to leave my current screen. Any advise?

andyjyneo is right, its worth due MAGLDR Boot support, if youre flashcoholic than youll like it

zero_kbom
Im using before, my setup is WP7 moon light, Chevron7 ready. The Android SD can be SD copewarren or SD MIUI. Its recommended u get at least 8-16 gb, because you need to partition half for each OS.

There 2 method for Nand installation.

1-Full Nand - faster & preferable, recommended for HD2
-Stock "HTC Desire" rom, require 250-300mb, eg Skink Desire or prj clean, Sense clock is cooler
-Cynogen Mod use around 80-120mb, eg: Hyperdroid GBX, lighter battery with boring looks
-MIUI requirement was like 120-150Mb, eg MIUI by langthang/ ladyboo, nice interface and user friendly

2-Nand with ext3/4 partition - this method require ext partition in your sdcard. Serve for system/ cache/ dalvik/ a2sd program. When u mount the card with USB to computer, this partition still connected with your phone. But its not advisable to physically mount, ie "cabut keluar" your memcard, this might hung your devices as the. The only rom require ext partition mostly come from "Desire HD" base rom OR any rom larger than our internal rom.

Unless you got TMobile HD2 you can make Full Nand installation almost every rom outthere smile.gif

wahh suddently this thread crowd back rclxms.gif

@neato4u
tongue.gif , but I might jealous to international version, becoz the TMous HD2 cases is very hard to find here hmm.gif , Like Edan mention its size abit longer.

@lun1986
MAGLDR was chain-boot from HSPL. Check your status in Tricolor Bootloader mode, it should mention 'HSPL' anywhere on screen. If its not then your devices still SPL.

ie;
Original state = SPL > Winmo (default)

Modified state
= H+SPL > Loading custom winmo
or
= H+SPL > MAGLDR menu > Android

get it ? smile.gif

@yolk
T-Mobile HD2 has 1gb internal ROM (which is why known as Leo1024). However RAM size for both model actually has the same amount. Once you upgrade with 2.15 radio, the international HD2 RAM unlocked from 448mb to 512mb RAM. nod.gif

@andyjyneo
You can solves with by EXT3/4 partition. This memory was mean for "extention" of your internal apps storage.
eg :
internal memory available = 100mb
ext2/3/4 partition (in sdcard) = 512mb,

hence system will detect as = 100mb+512mb nod.gif

Is this 1st time occur ? May I suggest you to do "Task29" for full Nand wipeout?. Then, reinstalling MAGLDR 1.13 and proceed again MAGLDR CWM repartition via USB flasher.

neato4u
You should have no problem with Hyperdroid v12 MAGLDR hmm.gif , ...or do u mean cLK version ? .
Stock Android & MIUI consume from 80mb to 150mb partition. Minus from 512mb the rermain storage is for internal memory purpose, not RAM.

A clean rom will give you 350-300mb ram. MIUI left us 200-270mb.
For Sense 'Desire' rom gives around 150-220mb ram, and the most RAM whore consume ; DesireHD about 100mb-180mb ram (depends on release) sweat.gif

Anyway, I couldnt bear with stock Android or Cyanogen mod, I kinda Sense addicted, even MIUI only stay few days in my nand laugh.gif

@ ckc00
afaik, its safe, Task29 will clear cluttered nand files. But its necessary to keep also your official firmware to reflashing incase your devices wont response to MAGLDR boot.

@ lun1986
can u elaborate more "how to remove devices from activesync" ?

@ neato4u
oic, that would ease u to switch another rom, because .. everything I wanna change rom, I take prior on sense build than non sense build.. this quite problematic for demanding people like me lol
