Without rooting, can 'Get' or 'Buy'?

The video shown on my SGS is broken, like if a video file is broken when you play it on PC, the picture was in banding of horizontal rows. Difficult to explain without a picture, but I can't screencap/record it either.

Just imagine it's like trying to play a broken mpeg4 video file on PC. Quite similar to that. But the voice was ok though, just video broken.

Aside from that, do you get pretty weak reception during calls? Most of the time, the other party was difficult to hear me either. I could blame this on reception, but if I'd to compare to my older phones, it seems to be appearing on this new phone.

Another thing would be the rather weak Wifi signal, at least as compared to HTC Desire. Not sure how many having the same problems like mine. 

I read somewhere u can use a foreign SIM card to buy paid apps without rooting.
Anyone tried that?

and i notice my signal is constantly on Edge only, what kind of settings do i need to change to use 3G and HSDPA?

My firmware is the earliest stock firmware. And I have problem connect to Kies. So, dunno how to update my firmware. Of course I don't want to root my device cause I'm no good at doing that. Don't want to take the risk.

You need to flash, not root, I think.

I been using OCLF and just uninstalled it. Was thinking of updating to VooDoo. But before doing it. was wondering if there is a way to uninstall if all goes south ? Been jumping all about XDA forum and is require ori firmware or soemthing like tat ?

maybe launcherpro eat too much memories.. most of the times after i quit from internet browser.. all my icons are gone and i need to wait for some seconds to load up... quite irritating..

Damn it. No big issue for rooted phones, although it would've been nicer if Malaysia was in the list..
