QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 8 2012, 07:13 AM) I have the problem whereby I hardly receive data from the server. It seems to have hiccups every second. I'm using for Hotfile links. Added on January 8, 2012, 2:18 pmAfter a while, it looks OK now. Will continue monitoring and will report here if something is amiss. Added on January 8, 2012, 2:22 pmOK, still. The file needs to run for approx 5 minutes only it goes well. Else, it has hiccups in between. QUOTE(AlfredKoh @ Jan 8 2012, 09:33 AM) this happen to me all the time Hello, even with filesonic or wupload sometimes it will stopped and then cant resume anymore, or i have to wait for the file to expired and generate again coz sometime im getting 4kb I wish to clarify the above situation. Note that Wupload and Filesonic are the same. They use a common system and that is the reason you face this issue with those two filehosts. This issue is down to them to fix What you can do IF you get this issue is to (if you are using IDM), copy the GENERATED link ---> Go to IDM ---> right click on the download and choose properties ---> Paste the generated link in the "Address" box ---> Resume. @last night "Filesize" not found. It was because they changed their script. We already fixed the issue after a couple of hours. I would like to point out we were the first gen to fix it and that on a Saturday night. Just to show you how we care for our members. We thank you all for your support and understanding. Warmest Regards, The RapidGen Team Added on January 8, 2012, 4:51 pm QUOTE(nicktaylor @ Jan 8 2012, 07:09 AM) yesterdays problem occur again bro.. what is happening? is someone try to hack rapidgen Hi Nicktaylor,Please kindly note that this issue is from Megashares itself not on our side. We tested it. We regularly test our servers and ditch those which are slow/faulty. I just did a test and i got 19mb/s from MU and 12mb/s from FileSonic. This is a host issue. We already contacted our hosting provider. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please be patient. Its not as if we want our server to be down. I hope you understand that this is IT, and problems may occur.
Please do not open any ticket about the issue. We already contacted our host and we should be back online soon. We thank your for your cooperation. Added on January 8, 2012, 10:02 pmBack online. Thanks for your patience. This post has been edited by rapidgen: Jan 8 2012, 10:02 PM |

QUOTE skywys19,Jan 8 2012, 05:16 PM QUOTE 1. Filesonic, wupload, netload and Fileserve. I have tried a lot of time for want to generate the download link from this servers, however all failed. We currently do NOT have any issue with FSO, Wupload (i tried before replying you) - when did you try??? Please try again. Yesterday there was an issue (not really an issue), FSO changed their script (and we were the 1st gen to update to the new script of FSO). All these we updated on top of our page. It will be good if you read them We do not support Fileserve anymore (actually, no gen support FS anymore) - please read the notice on top of our page, we explained in detailed. NetLoad have problems, they impose strict on accounts. All major Filehosting are working at the time of this reply including FileSonic, Wupload, Megaupload, FileFactory, DepositFiles, VideoBB, Uploading, FilePost, LetitBit, Megashares... QUOTE 2. Support is not really respond for my problem. I have contact the lz who is lwk523 for my problem via MSN. On the half way, he is away from conversation. I tot he is solving the problem and will get back to me. But after 1 day, there is not update from him. Please open a support ticket and describe your problem. Click on "Support" on your gen page. QUOTE 3. Rapidgen website not stable. I can't even access this website on 8-Jan. after i read the post here, only knew the website is down. I hope at least a short notification or message will put on the website which mention the website is under maintenance. Our website is RARELY down. For 2011, i can tell you that we had only 1 real downtime and that was from our HOST. There is nothing we can do when there is a network/hardware issue. I hope you understand that. It was not maintenance, please read my post above. It was the server. When the server is down, we cannot post anything as such. WHEN there is a maintenance, we DO put a maintenance page. We work hard everyday. Even on Weekends. This post has been edited by rapidgen: Jan 9 2012, 12:54 AM |

QUOTE(cofin @ Jan 8 2012, 06:46 PM) Thanks for your PM. Replied. This issue is just temporary and FSO is to blame for it. They at time simply cannot handle the generation request and thus our system returns that error. Its really not an "issue" on our side. Simply re-try generating, it should be ok as long the link is active. EDIT: Got update of your PM saying "working back already". Thanks once again, feel free to PM at anytime, i will respond promptly (if am not sleeping This post has been edited by rapidgen: Jan 9 2012, 02:07 AM |

QUOTE(turbocharged @ Jan 11 2012, 02:10 PM) Hi,We did an audit based on your report. We have no speed issues on our servers. I tried a test link from MU and i got 16mb/s. Uploading, HF and DP are also streaming with fast speeds. Regarding FSN - IF it is slow, its not rapidgen which is "slow". THEY are performing maintenance on their servers, causing some files not to be available or/and some speed issues on some file. It is down to them. - not from us. Thanks, |

QUOTE(cofin @ Jan 14 2012, 07:01 PM) PLease help on Hotfile. "No working premium account was found for this download - please wait until the system rotates next hour!" QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 14 2012, 07:07 PM) Yes, I have reported to him on Friday. Just tried again just now but still not working. Please help, most of my files are coming from Hotfile. @cofin & frutie : We already fixed the HF issue some hours back. QUOTE(J-Slade @ Jan 14 2012, 07:18 PM) If I buy another package now but my existing package not yet expired, does it create another package that runs parallel with my current package or does it extend my package upon expiry? Hey Slade,Because I only want it to start after my expiry and also for the next quarter I wanna get a higher package. Kindly advise. No it doesn't run parallel. Each package is independent and does not complement another service. However, you may buy 2xRG-UP packs (but not Donator, Bronze, Gold and Trial) and you will be sent TWO different logins which you may use independently. For example, if you already have an RG-UP package, you may buy another to give your friend (our system will send you a UNIQUE username and password). So in case you are all wondering where Megaupload has disappeared to, here's the latest: Megaupload's domain has been seized due to 'piracy' :|
Also, someone notified me of this site as Megaupload's new IP: http://109.236.83.66/ If i were you, I wouldn't attempt logging in to that site, until it's been officially verified as Megaupload's, for now it could be a phishing site... :S - tc Regards |

Fruitie, HF has been fixed. They banned us. We rectified the situation today.
We further increased the overall b/w limit. DESPITE our earning have been DECREASED by some 50% DUE to the Filehosters CLOSURE (we are not to blame). We are CONTINUING to do our BEST. We STILL investing our monies so as to give a decent service. We hope you can realise that we're doing our best and that many situations are often out of our control! Thank you! |

Let me clear some doubts on here:
1. RS is working. I don't know when it stopped working. If there is an issue, PM us or open a ticket. We will surely check it out. 2. HF - they are banning - not only us, but others also. We have just fixed it and is online. We usually put notices on our page whenever we have an issue. We are a gen, and all gen face problems - is is bound to happen. So whenever, there is an issue, we ask you for a bit of your patience. We always inform our users via announcements, twitter and facebook. We appreciate your collaboration. But note that the best way for us to know what's wrong is for you to report the issue thru proper channels...posting here and there won't help into solving the matter. Rather sending us, a nice PM/support ticket would certainly get us to work and encourage us. 3. FS/US/FJ = ALL same. They are "together". Numerous times we updated about the issues. Those hosts ban "for nothing". Like some mentioned, we recently had put US online again but had to disable it again, they banned when BARELY a few gigabytes was downloaded. - Every premium link gens are facing issues with them and many are leaving them. @cielbleu : Lwk523 will REactivate your account as soon as he is back. Please be patient, he cannot remain on 24/24, he got a life too. I hope you understand. Next time consider renewing a bit early. Fruitie, i think you wrongly understand. Let me show light.
We are not dozens at rapidgen When a support ticket is opened, we are notified by email + there is a follow-up. We can directly ask the user for more info as required to investigate issues. If we are to provide support here 24/24, then this thread would be full of support replies only and it won't be a sales/promotions one anymore and new users will find themselves lost. And i DO agree with you, everyone can post his/her dissatisfaction or satisfaction. As regards to HF - they are banning and this is completely out of out control. I hope our users understand this. Its not as if we want to have HF, OFF. We work hard you know. But there are many things we don't control. - We ARE currently working to counter it. And we are among the rare gens remaining out there who is constantly investing time and monies (given our small client base) day by day to maintain the service, after the recent events. We strive for YOU people. Often our staff at midnight-6AM - IS STILL WORKING. ^example, RS are banning servers. We keep updating them so as to maintain service. And we are among the rare ones still out their who reply to support tickets in a timely way, how busy we are. We communicate to our users - we always keep in touch. I sincerely apologize to our users for the on&off issues. But i hope you can understand what's going out there in the filehosting business. Many stuffs are out of our hands. It is hard to survive these days, but we are still and will still be here to provide services as far as possible. This post has been edited by rapidgen: Feb 4 2012, 07:11 AM |

Bitshare restriction removed @ywkwy. Enjoy.
Some people here simply cannot understand the situation. We cannot be held responsible FOR the following: i) Hotfile BANNING - they are banning, and NOT ONLY us, other gens also. ii) We cannot cater for MU/FSO - They have been closed. As a result, OTHER services have been FLOODED (if not saturated...on their side itself i mean....we have plenty of servers, speed is not an issue on OUR side) which at times causes download problems, etc ---> so obviously "service is not like before", there is currently a cyclone....We should wait for it to pass. Its simple as that. If you are not satisfied, we are happy to refund our users, simply pull a cancellation request and contact lwk523 for refund. Hotfile has been updated. Think there is a misunderstanding?
I meant, we cannot be responsible FOR: i) MEGAUPLOAD Closure ii) FILESONIC Closure Please do ask questions when there is misunderstanding. Thanks This post has been edited by rapidgen: Feb 7 2012, 12:47 PM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 7 2012, 05:17 AM) I think everybody knows this fact. It is due to SOPA. No need to explain on that. Frutie, if you are referring to Hotfile, please understand - its not like its OUR fault if they are banning us. Am trying to make this clear since the very beginning but you keep on putting the blame on us What we want is just to maintain whatever we have now. Regarding uploaded.to, we spent a lot of $$$ (yes 3 figures) with them in the last 2 weeks and it is never enough. They have restrictive b/w. If there is any further questions, am here to assist. Thanks |
